Remarks

Nothing negative about the college. College is just wonderful and you can never spot anything negative about this college. If you want to find anything negative only one thing is there, the college bus fees are kinda costly

Course Curriculum Overview

There are four years of college. Each year consisting of two semesters, which you need to compulsory pass. I'd fail to do so you create an arrear. And the attendance is noted by bio metric verification. Internship is also available

Placement Experience

The placements are extremely wonderful and in the 4th year of college you get interviewed, and depending on your skill you might get admitted to core job opportunities. The college also offers internship, which consists of paid and also free

College Events

Every year once there is a culturals conducted in our college in a very professional manner. Culturals are sponsored by leading corporate companies and rewards are galoring. College even allows to students to participate in other college culturals

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for those who have scored good marks in vit entrance exam. It depends on the marks you've scored. If you've scored less you need to pay more. There is also manangement seats which are even more costly

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not sure about any scholarship or loan facility offered by my college because I haven't availed anything or heard anything of that. If I come to know of anything of this I'll mail you the details

Campus Life

Labs are beautiful and contain everything required for any student of any courses. Sports and extra curricular are wonderful. Ground for each and every sport is beautiful and vast. College infrastructure is wonderful

Alumni/Alumna

I haven't met any alumni or any such, but the seniors are helpful and the college is anti ragging or ragging free. Seniors also clear our doubts and are very friendly and also spend time with us and very good

Admission

Vitee is an entrance exam for getting admission into vit. Depending upon your marks merit list is prepared. Depending on your marks you get your fee structure for a each year of college, if you've scored high you get to pay less fees.

Faculty

Faculty are free to move with and open with students. They clear doubts anytime and anywhere. They help with us with how to operate instruments in lab very well. Overall they are very good and motivating

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
