Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is updated and aligns mostly with the recent civil engineering trends. The electives are also available for students to learn the discipline they prefer. Innovative activities are also carried out and outcome based curriculum is preferred.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are not allowed till the last semester by the institute. The college attendance policy is very strict and 75% attendance should be maintained at any cost . Final semester is completely dedicated to internship and most of the students get the paid ones.

Placement Experience

5

Generally students of final year are eligible for placements. The college takes all the measures to bring top and reputable companies to the campus. Good assistance is provided by the T &P cell throughout the process. Most of the students get decent packages through campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I avail EBC scholarship so I only need to pay around 90k a year. Similarly there are other scholarship opportunities available in college for different categories. The original few is around 170000 rs for general students and the students admitted through ILQ. The SC/ST fees is around 3k a year which is very affordable. The fees slightly increased with years.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is decent with a good balance between academics and activities. The activities are not very grand but are consistent and enjoyable. The annual fest and techfest are the two major events per year. There are numerous clubs in the college which you can join as per your interests.

Admission

I got admitted in the institute through MHT CET examination. The college is better than other colleges in the area due to high degree of professionalism and high standards. There is good balance between discipline and fun I'm the campus.

Faculty

5

Civil department has excellent faculty with lots of experience and expertise of the subjects. Most of the faculty have doctorates and have a vast research experience. The faculty is generally approachable and helpful. The exams are not difficult to pass and the syllabus and question papers are set by the faculties themselves. The college examinations are very strict and proper rules and regulations are set up by the college.

Night Life

3

The college does not offer much after 5 pm. The whole campus gets quiet and empty in the evening. The library and canteen also close and there is nothing to do in the campus. The surrounding area is also not much happening as it is quite away from the city centre and is semi urban. The nights are not much exciting around the campus except good tea spots and some decent eateries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
