Course Curriculum Overview
My course is BSc Hons (physics) and after this, we have many options to do eg. masters in physics, going research line, etc. After physics, we ca give entrance exams for MSc eg. JAM, TIFR, Jest, bhudu, etc. After MSc in physics we can also try for Drdo research center etc for the post of junior scientists.
Placement Experience
Placement from our college are very good. Many famous campanies come to our college for interview. We have more placements in commerce stream than the science stream. Bt physics students get placements with their technical abilities
College Events
My college has conducted Nexus fest which is the best college fest in South campus of Delhi University. Recently Our college fest society conduct a youth conclave.,many youth icons eg. IAS Ira Singhal come for inspiring the youth. And different society conduct their own competitions, games etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
My college fee is less than the other college in the University of Delhi. My course(BSc Hons physics) fee is 13000 per year. Science subjects have more fees than the art and commerce subjects because of the practical lab. My total fee in the first year includes other expenses is 13000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I get inspire scholarship of science. Inspire scholarship provides scholarships for the students who get high marks in 12th classes and I don't obtain any education loan.
Campus Life
My college campus is great and the atmosphere of the college is good. In this college, females do not face any type of problems, discrimination. Gender ratio of the college is 55m/45 f. We have extracurricular activities in sport, labs. Many workshops related to science, debate competitions are the best.
Alumni/Alumna
Our senior are doing a great job in their fields are coming to college and give tips to the students. Our college alumni are shristy Jha(TV actress), Varun (TV) etc they come to college for inspiring us.
Admission
I got the admission in Sri Venkateswara college from merit list based on marks of 12th class. I got the admission in June month after checking my name in the college merit list. Admission process provides both offline and online process. Firstly u have to fill the application form of du and the interesting sub then u check ur name in the merit list.
Faculty
My college faculties are great. Our lab facilities provide every material about the experiment. Ur teachers are very good. They give us the best education in physics. In physics, ous college has a faculty in astrophysics, which can help us in the future.
