Life in DIEMS

I chosed this course as it was new and seemed to be interesting . The course is well planned there are 3 internal exams . Two of 20 marks which are converted into 10 and 1 of 20 marks known as the mid-sem exam. Praticals are conducted regularly . The praticals exam are taken after the sem end and then we have preparation leave of about 15 days to study for end semester exams

The fees of engineering courses is 100000 per year. It can be paid in 4 installments , 2 in each semester. The college provides various scholarship programs like TFWS , EBC , Punjabrao and many more according to categories . Management qouta does not have any option of scholarship they also have to pay donation during admission . Other than this we need to pay university fees and exam registration fees according to respective exams. The fees for TWFS is 11,111 i.e the development fees and for EWS is something around 55,000. Female students has a wavier of fees as government stated and is supposed to pay 11,111 only .

Annual gathering called QUASARS is held every-year . Project exhibition for showing the projects made by students is done in the name of "SHODH". During the month of March , there are sports competition among different branches . Then different kind of days such as Halloween day , Traditional day , Mismatched day , Bollywood day are also a part of the cultural fest . After a week of all these days 2 days night event is held , in which a celebrity guest is called upon .

I chosed this college coz it has a very good reputation . Lectures are conducted regulary there is nothing like off lectures here. If a professor is unavailable some other professors is scheduled to take the class , the class is never cancelled . Faculty members contact parents whenever necessary , each semester has a parent meet scheduled.

I have enrolled for Btech in AIML . As it is a new course which started 4 yrs back my batch will be the 3 batch of AIML. There are approx 75-77 students in each class . The syllabus was designed by the facult members of my own college . It has all necessary subjects related to AI as well as other computer technologies .

Nightlife is not a thing for girls living in hostel as the in time is 7 pm . There are many food spots nearby . The campus is very safe and girls hostel is situated inside the college campus and has a very tight security . There are 3 gates to finally reach the girls hostel.
