Entrance Preview

I took entrance exam for bcom .Hopefully secured 138 out of 200 and successfully got admission .I took this as I am interested in CA line and also persuing CA course .

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has tremendous growth opportunities. The best faculty for everyone Many divisions are available for everyone's need . And it is highly well organized.

Internships Opportunities

Now in am in part 2 only so not experienced all this . But as heard from seniors that they get best pay scale at this stage also. As far so many big companies have approached and many students have been successfully got placed . Their starting package is 6LPA .

College Events

There are many events organized in our college . Xavier fest in world famous . Every year it organizes fest .Apart from that many cultural activities and cocurricular programmes are being organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes the fee structure is affordable for a common man for higher education . Not too expensive. My annual fee is I.e one time chargeable is 14900 And then per exam fee is 500 only and once in six months .Other than this there is no any other extra fee which has to be paid . So its quite economical to persue in such a reputed college .

Fees and Financial Aid

No not any such loans only there is one scholarship form from which we get 1000 in 1 academic year if we score good rank in all sections upto 3 ranks only .

Campus Life

Yes campus life is awesome here . No such old customs exist now .We all are too matured and are from good backgrounds . No such bad things prevail here.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree. Pris and cons of St Xavier's
