Course Curriculum Overview

3

Its somehow irrelevant and they teach outdated things so its annoying sometimes. For eg. there's a subject called content writing which is not there in any BMM college and teach methods are above average to be honest

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like the Social Fad, Pizza hut, Bookmyshow, etc have asked for interns from our college and I personally have interened for Social fad. Internships opportunites are high in number and they're pretty good too

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees has increased from 27,000 per year to 30,000 per year in the span of just 5 years, and I think it will keep on increasing. There are no schlarships as such in SIES and I find the course quite affordable.

Campus Life

3

The experience has been slightly above average and with a few complaints a long the way, most of the things have been smooth. Clubs in SIES are amazing I am a part of the Cultural association and it has so much to offer. Other than CA there is the rotaract club of SIES and the Lion's club. About the infrastructre its amazing no complaints but I wished the Sports gymkhana makes some improvements

Admission

I chose SIES because of their low cut-off and good reviews about it. I wanted to get admission in UPG, I even cleared the cut-off but the fees was too high and i couldn't afford it so I had to take admission in SIES because it was the only affordable college for me

Faculty

4

The faculty is one of the selling points of SIES. Generally friendly and understanding rather than being arrogant. The exam systems and the ATKT systems are also very strict, SIES college doesn't take all these things very lineantly

Interview Experience

3

No, nothing as such. Just a normal form and form fee nothing more than that. The form had a few annoying details to add but the rest was fine. It was smooth in general and didn't face any problems as such.

Night Life

4

Night life is amazing around SIES, as there are plenty of food options like A1 samosa, Esta cafe, Vrindvavan and Gurukripa along with a Mcdonalds. And a really popular frankie stall right in front of the college along with Wow momos. Plenty of food options around SIES. Its generally safe and less crowded too so noise is out of consideration and yeah no safety issues as such

Other Applied Colleges

Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Film, Television and New Media Production)

Fees was way too high

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
