Remarks

Positive- its faculty, its infrastructure, its lab facility, extra curriculum activity, annual day celebration, xerox centre, tech feast etc. Negative- placement, fee structure, strictness, costly food on canteen etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

There was mainly 5 courses for b-tech as CE, ME, CSE, EE & ECE. Except btech my college provide diploma on CE & ME. & also M-tech & MBA as post graduation courses. Class was regularly done following university syllabus. There was 2 internal exam per semester which was organised by college & final sem exam was conducted by MAKAUT university.

Placement Experience

Placement can be termed as average as for stream like CE & ME there was no placement during my time but for EE, ECE & CSE there was regular basis placement was done. Although most of the company are IT based. There was no intern facilities provided till I'm in the college. Stipend facilities are available for sc, st & obc students, although I'm not eligible for any stipend.

there was lots of program celebrated on my college, like teachers' day, fresher's day, refreshko which was our annual feast organised by studnts, tech craze - a tech feast to encourage stdnts of technology to show off there knowledge of technology & many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't availed any loan but i know they provide education loan through any bank as per banks terms & condition. About scholarship they only provide scholarship towards economically weeker sections people.

Campus Life

On my clg every stream has there own labs as required. On my branch there are all lab facilities which we require to do our practical classes & on other branches too. College organize intra college cricket & football tournament every year & we celebrate annual sports day also.

Alumni/Alumna

we have an alumni association on which we discuss about how to do anything for college. On refreshko we all try to attend & make a get together on college premises. & our management also invite alumni people for annual meeting & we try to attend it. Seniors are as usual always helpful like other colleges.

Admission

After Completing my diploma successfully i gave GELET exam which was mandatory to get admission to a degree college & fortunately by using my rank card i got admission on Supreme Knowledge Foundation Group of Institution, Mankundu, West Bengal.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Overview of SUPREME KNOWLEDGE FOUNDATION GROUP OF INSTALLATIONS.

This college is located near a railway station, which makes transportation very easy. And this college also offers a large variety of courses which very less number of colleges do now a days.
