Course Curriculum Overview

4

in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the course curriculum is good as for the first semester we only had engineering subjects such as physics chemistry, electronics and communication skills but slowly as we enter semester 2 there seems to be a gradual dive into more of the biotechnology subject and in that field as a whole

Placement Experience

3

students become eligible from semester 7 to take part in campus placements and interships in other companies or institutions. Highest package is 40L per annum. The rest of the details are unknown to me as I am still in semester 2.

Fees and Financial Aid

the year wise fee for my course, b.tech in biotechnology is two lakhs fifty five thousand. the fee structure of dy patil school of biotechnology and bioinformatics in Belapur is 255000 for the first year and for the other three years to 245000.

Campus Life

3

there are a lot go festivals here for music, dance, literature, sports, Rotaract activities. everyone gets a chance to display their skill which is a good thing. the seniors are very helpful and motivating of us to take part in different activities and events. the clubs here are, music club, sports club, dance club, literature club, food technology club etc

Admission

i chose this college as it closed to my residence and is in a good locality i did not get rejected from other colleges as this was this first college I applied to and I got accepted. the admission process consists of going there to receive admission, paying the fee, collecting the recepts, and there quite a few payments that are to be made later on during the semester for examination etc.

Faculty

3

each of the teaching faculty have their pros and cons. the physics faculty teaches good and is not strict at all but at the same time they went to slow with syllabus and dragged it. the chemistry faculty does not know their material and is not ready with their material to reach. the electronics faculty is very strict and confrontational but reached okay

Night Life

4

the area in which the campus is situated in very nice and very convinient especially for students, there are a few gyms around the campus but not in the campus, the library in the campus is average. campus closes at 6pm, sometimes extended famous hangout spot is communion cafe below the college the locality is very safe at night

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
