My College Days

The college is very good. Few faculty are very rude, but can't help it. But some are just like a friend to you. Though the location of the college is not quite good. But the environment around the college is very pleasant.

I think the course curriculum is pretty decent. The examination structure is C.B.C.S. It means Choice Based Credit System. This exam structure is very easy. In this structure exam is taken in the MCQ form.

The Job Opportunities and placement is pretty impressive. Various big companies quite often visit our college for interns. Our college also provide internship. Like the students who like to teach or wants to go in media industry, they are often told to take the lectures of their interest, when the college professor is not available.

Like every other College. My college also celebrate the occasions. Firstly every year, fresher's party is planned for our juniors. Then comes The Ripples. This is one of the most important and biggest event around many colleges of the area. There is inter college competition on various activities like singing, dancing, acting etc.

The fee structure is not very expensive. The fee structure is quite feasible. Since the college is owned by a society. The fee is protionately low. And since our college is not a private college, it is government college. The fee automatically reduces to a certain point.

There is not any loan facility offered by the college. But obviously and surely there is scholarships for the deserving but financially low candidates. If you want to avail the scholarship of the college then you have to clear the entrance exam.

Yes, there are extra curricular activities in the college. Inter college football competition, inter college cricket competition, inter house table tennis competition. There is also a big library, in the campus.

I have not opted for a hostel life. There is stay in a rented room. Since there is are many distractions out there. Otherwise, the hostel infrastructure is very good. The building is very well managed.

Obviously there is alumi network of college in the Facebook group. It is very beneficial for the juniors. Many doubt which can not be explained in the class is explained very well by our senior. Many doubts and information are cleared and passed in that alumni Facebook group.

I got admission through the merit list process. Firstly i had to fill the application form, provided in college in offline form. You have to fill the form first and then if you qualify in certain marks in the subject, you get admission in the college.

The faculty of the college is pretty decent. Though some of the teachers behave quite rude. But you can't help it. On the other side, there are bunch of teachers who are very frank and friendly in nature. The are just like a college friend for us. They guide us in the right direction. They always share their experiences with us so that we don't repeat the mistakes that they did in their college days.
