Chandigarh group of colleges , landran , mohali ; honest review from a student .

The decision of taking my course was the growing industry in IT sector and also my interest towards this industry. The curriculum we are being taught here is somewhat at par with the industry levels. but the teaching methods should be improved for more understanding of the students.

Various companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Walmart, Amazon, and Google, also come in our college for the placements And they offer so many roles for their company, and while providing internships, they give the stipend of around 25 to 30,000.

The students are eligible from sixth semester for the internships And for placements they are eligible from the final year of their course. various companies like TCS, Wipro, Walmart, and Infosys come for the placements in our college and make good offers for the students. The average package provided by these companies is around 3 to 4 lacs per annum and the highest package was 52 lac which was provided by Amazon. Around 70% of students get placed in the companies by the college.

The semester fees is about 65,000 and it costs us 1,30,000 yearly . The admission fees is 65,000 as same as the semester fees and registration fee is 11,000, and it has no development fees, lab fees, and other compulsory charges during the course .

The biggest fest which is organised by our college is the Parivartan fest which is held at the end of October every year. our college also organises small, technical events, and non-events, which are aagaz and aaveg . All types of study material is available in the library . Talking about the sports , our college has many sports facilities like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and much more. many student created clubs are also there for the personality development of student.

I first applied into Chitkara University which is in Rajpura, Punjab, and I also got confirmed in the Admission but due to some personal reasons, I didn't join that college, and then I decided to join Chandigarh group of colleges which is near my house and taking admission into this college was very easy by just filling a form online and getting into the counselling round. Our college accepts JEE and CBSE board exam results for the admission in various programs .

The faculty to student ratio is quite a good ratio, and they are very approachable and friendly in nature in helping students. The chemistry teacher in our first semester was very good in teaching and also the behaviour towards students was also very polite. There are two mid session tests and one final exam and have a moderate difficulty and almost every student passes the exam .

as I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the college but talking about cafeterias, they are very nice. The hostel gyms are average the libraries are also average. The hostel closing timing is 7 PM for girls and 9 PM for boys and opening time of the campus is 9 in the morning and 4:30 in the evening, which is the closing time of the college . The Chai Vyanjan is a very famous spot of our college and the food Court near boys hostel is also very good place to hangout .
