Remarks
The college campus and everything is good but there are some areas where improvement is needed like providing with preparation leaves of atleast a day for every subject and increasing the book counts in library.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is flexible. The college classes are only five days a week ,so you get the weekend to study on your own and for other extra curricular activities as well.A subject gets 3 hours a week.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't provide internships which shouldn't be the case. The college should provide scholarships at least to those who show nothing but excellence in their respective fields which could be motivation for others as well.
Placement Experience
The placements are overall fine. The average package is high because or the few who get really good packages. There are some companies with minimum CGPA criterion due to which not all students get to sit in some company placements.
College Events
The are a hell lot of events but the manjo one's are the three fests which happen in January or the first week of February ,that is, the cultural fest Vivacity,the sports fest Desiportivos and the science fest Plinth
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure may not be feasible for a middle class family who want their children to study in a reputed college and would do anything in their power to do so. Also ,let's not forget the 5-10% rise in fee every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the first year, scholarship are given to those who clear Jee-advanced.Second year onwards, it's given to those with above 9 CGPA and above 8.5 CGPA to those whose family income is less that 5 lakhs and obviously to those who are below poverty line according to government rules.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extra curricular activities like basketball,volleyball, badminton, tennis,football,cricket and many more. The library is good too but there aren't books for all students.The labs are well equipped too.
Hostel Facilities
Some of the hostel rooms seem dark and gloomy to me. The water has a high salt content making you feel sticky all the time after you bathe and might not suit people with sensitive skin. Rest is all good.
Alumni/Alumna
Interaction between seniors and juniors is really important.everyone needs help of the seniors at some point in their college life whether it be notes or advice for studies which won't happen without interaction.
Exam Structure
The exam is structure really is bad. There is no preparation gap for any exams.This leads to mental stress and health problems because students stay awake all night long all week because the course is too long to revise in just few hours.
Admission
The results came online and we paid the fee online and then we had to report to the college with the documents listed on the website. Then it didn't took us much time on the day. We were given tokens and called accordingly. The documents were checked and then ID cards were given.
Faculty
The faculties are good.All the PhDs but some teachers though have the college cannot convey to the students what they know. There's a communication gap between them and the students.Also since a particular subject gets only 40 hours in complete semester,teachers seem to be in a hurry.
