Pes university review

The curriculum pes provides is usually up to date and is on par with the outside world requirements Exams are conducted every two months overall 3 exams are conducted No improvements are necessary but there are some extra subjects which in my opinion are pointless to teach

Stipend of internships range from 20k to 95k Even internships can be done which are provided by college by taking the role of a teaching assistant Every company has a minimum cgpa criteria, after that the best are chosen after 3 rounds of interview

After 6th sem , companies come for placements, if ur already doing internships , u can join those companies itself Most of the major service and product based companies come like apple , google , microsoft, infosys , walmart Average package is around 10lpa and highest is around 52lpa There is a 70 percent placement chance according to the statistics given this year After getting the degree either go for higher studies or job

Yearly fee is around 410000 now 500000 for btech students, if ur in top 20% per sem , u get 40% of ur college fee back (around 80k) no lab fees or any other miscellaneous fees of any sort Soon they will take admission only through JEE main score and kcet , previously itnwas through their entrance exam (PESSAT)

As pes has 2 campuses , each of the campus has one festival throughout the year , maaya for ecity and aatmatrisha for rr campus There is a wide range of books in the library, only educational books are available in the ecity library which can be improved There is also a digital portal to access question papers and ejournals There is a cricket ground, basketball court, football ground in ecity , also a high class gym with a variety of indoor games such as table tennis, 8 ball pool, chess and an indoor badminton court and a squash court and a soft ball court There are many tech clubs which gives assist students in extra knowledge and placements

Applied for amrita , ramaiya college, vishweshwariya college , and pes , overall pes had a better placement ratio than the other colleges along with a better avg placement package The other entrances depended on kcet where my grades were low compared to others also i did get in amrita college but chose pes for the package and placement reasons Admission whn i joined was through PESSAT , kcet , jee and comedk PESSAT wld be the most preferred as it was easier when compared to the other exams , cutoff was around 3k for cse 7k for ece Admission was pretty much straightforward, bring a check and book ur seat when ur name appears on the course selecting board

The faculties are approachable and they are plenty of staffs for the students, the relationship between the staffs and the students is pretty much chill There are two minor exams and one major subjective exam The minor exams are of 40 marks having two units/chapters each and the major exam is conducted of 100marks covering all 4 units Overall results is scaled down to 100 marks including the internal and project marks

Ppl hangout in the cafeteria there are 3 main cafeteria, a small food joint and a couple of food trucks around the campus The gyms is closed around 9pm , but libraries are open through the day It is pretty safe and secure at night as there are alot of securities , bouncers and alot of friendly street dogs which the student club specially for dogs have adopted and taken care
