Likes

Ambience was good. Good spacious classroom.
Library was filled with all subject related books.
Located in heart of the city. Can reach easily.

Dislikes

Teachers are not much cooperative. They didnot solve indevidual problems.
Classes are not regular. Sometimes teachers come sometimes doesn't.
No extra curricular activity. No physical or cultural activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its contains wel research subjects , And good if you want to know Finance thoroughly. It will give you subject knowledge well but talking about real world projects were not there. More industry specific projects need to inculde. Exam mainly occur twice a year. Difficuly level is moderate.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees is 30,000/- pa. It include tution fees. library usage. Hostel charges additional. Exam fees are 1000/extra each semister. SC, ST given consession of 10% on fees. My batchmate fee is same as my fees. Scolarship for diserving students. Topper students get scolarship in tution fees of 10% based on their scores

Campus Life

No annual festival conducted. Library has all types of subject related books. Books are accesable in library only one at a time. No extra curricular activity offered at campus. No social group or student portals.

Admission

I applied to Delhi university. Can't clear it because the cutoff is more than 95% in CBSE class12. I choose this collage because it is in my hometown an heart of the city. Fees structure is also in my budget. Timing of the collage is good. For admission you need to fill the form and wait for a PI with professor . He will tell you course vacancy & optional courses. Overall experience was good.

Faculty

I have studied BCOM hons. Its a 3 years subject mainly consist of Accountancy, Economics, Taxation, Law & Englush as an optional subject. Faculties dont solve individual problems. Exam twice a year. Difficulty level is moderate. You need to listen to your profeesor in class. Mostly questions come from their classroom notes. Course curriculam is good.

Interview Experience

I had PI . Professor ask about my scores in CBSE Subject I read. Basic questions on them. Then he told me about the courses I can choose based on my score in CBSE. I have gone through mockGD/PI befor attending interview

Night Life

No gym, A small cafetera with minimum menu . Only Samosa & Allo chop available No idea abot hostel. I had my own house Small park is there inside collage campus. Collage is filled with greenery. A big ground in the middle.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

Okay, the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very specific with the subjects that you Learned in this course. It prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. They teach you cost accounting, financial management, and HRM, which are very important in companies. The improvements can be done in the course curriculum and teaching methods that infuse real-life examples and also practical Questions and practical Situations to make student Corporate ready And you have to do an industrial visit so that students can know How Real life Actual Company works.

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The exams timings was not much good, It has to be improved, the 1 st sem exam was held after 1 year of admission and afterthat next sem was taken earlier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

The college admission process is very good. First, you have to apply for the B.Ed. course and appear for the entrance examination. Through the entrance exam, you get the option to choose colleges, where you can select up to ten colleges. Based on your ranking, a college is allotted to you. My graduation diaries

I didn't apply for any other college i had no other college in my mind to study English. I filled the form of this college and i was shortlisted in the first cut off list itself. The admission process was very simple. I has to fill up the form and because I was taking admission right after covid period there was no entrance exam at that time. I was selected on the basis of my 12th board exams marks. The eligibility of admission was passout with 60% and at least 75% in the honours subject. Main reason of choosing this college was distance. This college is located in my city and it was easy for me to go and attend lectures or daily basis, aslo I heard a lot of positive reviews about this college as my elder sister has also passed out from this college I knew that teacher were good and helping in nature.
