YES, The course design is very relevant. There are theory classes as well as labs are conducted appropriately. As the per the department the curriculum is degined. Lecture notes are provided by the professors .Exams are conducted like 2 semesters per year. And in semester there is mid sem - 30 marks and end sem-50 marks. Exams are conducted in 2 sittings. 1st sitting from 8:30am onwards. 2nd sitting from 2 pm onwards.

being the first year undergraduate student I have not done any internship yet. But we have heard from our seniors that there are excellent internship opportunities.Many companies use to give the opportunities. from 2nd year onwards we can have site visit.

1.Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. 2. Google,microsoft,Apple, Adani, Aditya BIRLA, INFOSYS, Amazon, Oracle and many more. 3. Highest package -1.2 crores by a student of EIE branch. Average 1000000. 4. 70% students can get placed on campus. 5.Qualify GATE for PSUs , clear IES.

year wise fees in btech (2 semesters)- 223000 tution fees - 62,500 admission fee(one time)- 2500 , medical fees- 2000 , caution money - 10000 student activity fee - 2000, hall rent - 5000 mess fee- 30000, hall establishment fee- 5000. yes there is fee wavier for SC, ST and Pwd candidates, They dont have to pay tution fee . for students whose family is less than 5 lakhs and above 1 lakhs per annum they have to pay 1/3 rd of the tution fee. for students whose family income is less than 1lakhs they also dont have to pay the tution fees.

In the classrooms teaching is through the smart board. 4.All the variety kinds of sports and activities are available here- badminton,basketball,volleyball,tennikoit,table tennis, long tennis, swimming, chess, cricket, carrom. 5.There 108 clubs in 4 categories - cultural,technical,sports,literary.

1. well spaced rooms are available here 2.meal quality is good menu- break fast- idili,dosa,upma,chole bhatore,poha,vada,oats,bread butter/jam,boil egg,milk. lunch- rice,roti,dahi,dal,mushroom,panner,malai kofta,raita,salad and many more. Dinner - roti,puri, dal,rice, curry of panner,chicken,mutton,egg,biryani,rasmalai,ice-cream 3. hostel registration during admission.

I applied for VSUT, BURLA , OUTR,BBSR , IIIT , BHUBNESHWAR FOR Computer science engineering. BUT I preferred NIT ROURKELA on the top of all these colleges. because i know the infrastructure, curriculum, academic support and real value of this college. No,I didnt get rejection from these colleges,I have not given my first peference to them. Admission process for NIT was through JOSSA And CSAB counselling. Eligibility- that the student has to qualify JEE MAINS by clearing the cut-off rank. For IIT students have to clear the cut-off rank of JEE advanced. In 2024 , Jee mains qualifying cut-off percentile was 93.33 percentile for general candidates.

The faculty members are really helpful, kind and generous towards the students. They help the students in gaining knowledge and scoring grades in the semesters. During the classes if the students listen to the professors very attentively then most of their studies are done right there. Apart from that if the students facesany difficulty regarding the studies they can directly meet the professors in their cabin for doubt clearing. Here examination is conducted very strictly, no malpractice. 8 semesters in 4 years and scoring is easier if the students have studied properly.

1. Basically gym timing is during morning(6-7)am and evening hours (4-7)pm. All the halls have the gym facilities also and also there is a central gym. Cafetaries and hotels are open till night 1am. library closes at 10pm and reading room at 11pm. 2. As per the rules before 12am one should within the campus from the main gate. for girls hostel 12 am is also the timing to be within the hall. 3.famous hangout places-Near Golden Jubliee building, LA lawn.
