Remarks

College is good you will have a typical college life of engineering assignments, practicals are sometimes too much to do but its part of curriculum. only negative remark is crowd should have been better at my times also there no nearby hang out place.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

curriculum actually comes from Mumbai university and every college have to follow it which this college also does. curriculum is overall good, but university should include more practical and industrial approach to train the students

Internships Opportunities

no, college does not provide any internships as it is an engineering college and in engineering it is not mandatory to do one. but if you want any internship to do you can always go to placement office or look it on your own.

Placement Experience

3

college placements are not upto the mark but if you are sincere and have good grades it is not tough to get job. college provides opportunities it is upto you whether you want to grab them (you have to be consistent from first year)

College Events

3

the college is famous for the events there are total 5 events happen in college 4 of them are hosted by streams like one of IT, one of computer etc. the there is one main event which go upto 4-5 days named fusion has lot many activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is bit expensive it is nearly 1lac per annum for open category student where is it is 50K for obc category and 18k to 7k for other categories. there is no hidden fees for any other materials except there is exam fees if you have not paid in total fees

Fees and Financial Aid

i have no idea about the loan facility but today educational loan is pretty easy to get, about the scholarship college provides very good scholarship which depends upon your scores. i guess it is 90% for pointer above 9 50% above 8.5 and 10% above 8.

Campus Life

3.5

labs are good and in our last year they were evolving most of the PCs have now windows and ubuntu both which is good for students. sports are good there is a 4-5 days event which is only based on sport and has many different activities

Hostel Facilities

2

there is no hostel provided by the college but it is nearby to sion, chunabhatti and kurla station so it is well connected to every part of Mumbai by both bus and rail. also there are plenty of rikshaws and few taxis on the gate

Alumni/Alumna

actually they have started the official online alumni network from last year which is good and have basic interacting tools. i am not well connected to the alumni so really cant comment on this question

Exam Structure

same is curriculum it follows the same exam structure which university has. on an average the structure in theory 80marks internal 20 marks viva 25 marks practical exam 25 marks. some subjects don't have practical exams

Admission

states' entrance exam open opportunity to admit in the college. i got 91 marks so i got in the second list of online. in the 3-4 days of given window, students whose name has come up has to go in the college to complete the process. i went on second day and i was very late like i went on 4pm or something then over there. there is a standard procedure of submitting the documents with some token of fees 100rs or something and after this process the last situation was interacting with principal and HOD where they briefed us about the college

Faculty

4

faculty actually differs from stream to stream. in first year when there is common subjects to all stream the faculty is very good very engaging helps the students and everything. in 2nd- 4th year IT faculty were also good they were helpful like any other college some faculties are not up to the mark but overall colleges' faculties are good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
