Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course is as cliche as other colleges. There is no use of anything they tach in college in real life or in future opportunities. The course is totally irrelevant and does not provide any skills to grab jobs

Placement Experience

2

4th year is the year from which students become eligible and can apply for placements. Companies like Infosys and maruti come here for placements but generally they provide mass placements and are generally ranging from 3 to 4 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The registration fees is near 5 thousand and the tuition fees yearly is around 75k which means that for first year the total yearly fees is 80k but after that yearly fees is 75k. The examination and building fees is included in this. Many government scholarships are there but college does not provide any scholarship at its own level

Campus Life

2

The infrastructure here is very bad and the building is too old and basic the clubs are also pretty average but bearable events here are close to none also there is no sports activities here the facilities inside the classroom are close to none but I must say the books facility are good

Hostel Facilities

4

Each room is allotted to 3 pupils and enough closet space is given to each student for keeping his bare essentials, and frankly anything extra than bare essentials would be taken away by hostel mates so closet space is adequate. Washrooms suck. Wardens are 3/10 based on looks. Seniors try ragging you but they have zero ragging skills, so ragging won't be an issue. Washing machines are available, but most probably only till next diwali.

Admission

The admission in this college can be taken by filling us hstes councelling form. I came to this college becouse there was no other government colleges which I could grab also this college seemed really good from the outside

Faculty

1

The faculty only takes there job as job in fact even worse. If you have some problems related to the course then you are in your own and should not expect any help from the faculty. The exams happening here are sessionals and end sem with marking being really strict

Interview Experience

3

The enterance was based on the results of jee mains . The hstes councelling was the first choice of admission but if you don't get a seat in the first 2 rounds then you could apply for the college through physical councelling rounds

Night Life

4

Campus is open 24/7, but nearby areas close by 8pm. No bars or cafes nearby, only Navdeep dhaba acts as a hangout spot for university students. University library 24/7 and is clean, because it is rarely used by students especially after the elevator incident. Liquor shops are on the lest side of gate number 3, closes by 11pm. So if we ignore the hostel Life, the nightlife of the institution is non existent.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
