AN OVERWHELMING JOURNEY OF FOUR YEARS

It needs improvement. The facilities should improve, hostels should be improved. Mess food should be improved. Ac rooms should be provided. Washrooms should be repaired and see more towards cleanliness.

The course curriculum was overall good, almost the same in all engineering colleges of India.however it has one demerit that is its nonflexible nature. As in some engineering colleges, students can choose the subjects which they want to study, along with the flexibility to choose the faculty member. In our college neither we can choose subjects nor the faculty member. It's a rigid pattern, just like schools.

Yes, various companies visit our campus to select interns. The internship is provided to pre-final and final year students. The stipend is also good. The maximum stipend offered this year was from Amazon, 45k per month.

There are ample job opportunities provided to students in all fields. Almost 90% of students of the college got placement this year. In fact, I am placed too in a good company. Consultancy companies, top It companies, banking sectors, etc various companies visited this year.

We have various events celebrated. Annual fest- BITOTSAV, Annual sports meet- VAJRA, Tech fest- PANTHEON, Photography fest- UTKRISHT, LITERARY FEST, DRAMA NIGHT DEEPOTSAV, DANDIYA NIGHT, LOHRI, Cultural fest is sponsored by various sponsors.

It is feasible, although a bit expensive for middle-class people. Some students study from education loans provided by banks. At the time of admission too, various banks visit our campus to provide loans to students.

The scholarship is awarded to meritorious students based on the GPA obtained in each semester. But scholarship is provided only to students who have low family income. People from good family cannot opt for them, even if they get good marks.

Labs are good, although they need upgradation, sports are ok, all types of sports are played, gyms are provided in all the hostels. Extracurricular activities are there but depends on the students. I mean there are various clubs to join, like art club, music club, dance club, literary society, etc. Students can be a part of any of them based on their interests.

The hostel infrastructure is good. better than other government colleges, although not up to private colleges like KIITS, VIT, etc. Rooms are provided with fans. Ac rooms are not available yet.

There is a SAARC cell that keeps records of all the alumni. Its a cell whose members include both the current students studying along with the students who have passed out, alumni are also helpful in placements as they bring their companies to recruit from the campus.

Good. We have two sets of exams per semester. One is mid sem exams, other the end sem. Mid sem comprises of 25 marks, 15 marks for internal quizzes, attendance, viva etc, end sem comprises of 60 marks in each subject. End semesters are generally in the month of November and April.

Through JEE MAIN held on April 2014. I added this college in my choice list along with 200 other colleges. There were 5 rounds of counseling, I got BIT in my second round, after which I visited the college in person and submitted all my original documents, mark sheets, etc.

Faculty members are all good, well experienced and talented in their respective domains. Almost all are PHDs, apart from that many hold a long list of degrees from foreign colleges too. Overall they are good.
