It's all about my university of Burdwan

Syllabus is like BSc Biotechnology, not more different but need to much more futuristic and hands on practice. Need to include forensic science, nanotechnology type of subjects in syllabus. Approximately 4-5 months gap in each semester

For all category students, we have to pay approximately Rs. 85000 totally in 2 years 1st semester fees was Rs. 21410 2nd sem fees was Rs. 20000 3rd & 4th sem fees are approximately near about Rs. 20000. SVMCM scholarship available for students who gain 65%+ marks per sem & continued study . From SVMCM we get 30000/year

There are a university fest in campus arround month of 1st week of June basically. Most interesting thing is, there are exhibition of models for competition from different departments. There are many functions, competition in different fields like singing, dancing,poem writing, recitation, drawing etc.

I applied in university of kalyani for MSc Biotechnology & nano science, WBSU for MSc microbiology, Vidyasagar University for MSc microbiology and Biomedical . I selected in every college but I want to get admission in biotechnology field that's why I choose burdwan university because that time kalyani university was too late to release merit lists . But I have not much time for wait.

Faculties are good to communicate, helpful. Faculty of department is 7 teaching staff, 5 non teaching staff and 3 lab assistants and library assistant. There are 1 internal exam per semester and semester exam also and practical approximately in each subjects. Exams are moderated not so difficult.

A central library situated in university campus , blissful areas like golden jubilee building campus, hawa Mahal etc. There are many hostels for boys and girls and scholars hostel. In every departmental back area, 1 small food shop available & central canteen also situated in university campus.
