Course Curriculum Overview
The good thing about the course is there are electives which are necessary for todays world such as Artificial Intelligence and Python and more. Also there are internships after 6th sem and during 8th sem which are mandatory thereby introducing real-world experience. Curriculum prepares us modestly, we do need to look for other resources as well. Course curriculum can be improved by focusing on case studies happening in the companies and that would improve the experience.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements start from 7th semester onwards. There are oddly about 45-50 companies visiting the campus. Some of the companies that came on campus last year are De-Shaw, ION, Josh Technologies, Deloitte, RDTS, Accenture, Infosys, ZS Associates ,ITC and more. Highest Package:50 LPA Some packages offered: ZS Associates:13.4 LPA ION:More than 12 LPA Josh:10 LPA Accenture:4.5 LPA Deloiite: 7.6 LPA Percentage of students getting placed:70%-75%
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Fee Structure is 1.45 lakh per year, it is 1.65 lakh in the first year due to ipu taking some charges. Therefore total charges come around to be 6 lakhs for 4 years. No scholarships as of my knowledge. The fees isn't increasing as of now.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest conducted in a good and lively manner. Last year raftaar was here. Apart from that there are different clubs as well such as the literary club , the dance club, the consulting club and more. Sports such as volleyball and basketball are prevalent here. A lot of the books are present in the library, can issue them any time and library has 4 floors so plenty of space to be found.
Admission
I scored 95.37 percentile in JEE Mains , so had good options in NIT 's core branches, NSUT and DTU's core branches and CSE in IPU. I picked MAIT because I felt I wouldn't be able to manage DTU's core branch and prepare for software side as well, plus would be on the backfoot since a lot of software companies won't allow core braches to sit.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio: 1: 40 Faculty and student relationship is approachable. Almost all the faculties are easy going and willing to help, There are 2 exams for me , i think it has changed for the juniors, for me it is mid-sem of 25 marks and end-sem of 75 marks. Internal exams are important so don't slack off. It is easy but you need to study , usually no one fails mid sem but for end sem if you don't study you will fail , so study, its easy to score above 7.5 cgpa easily maybe even 8+. Go through previous year paper rigorously.
Night Life
No gym, lots of cafes , little-medium area to stroll, campus isn't that big but bigger than MSIT. Hostel is within the campus and is pricey. Famous hangout spots: Amul Canteen, Stands:Sometimes music mashup is done there.
