Course Curriculum Overview
in the first year, so I cannot say a lot but the future curriculum looks good—a lot of stuff which will help us in the outside world. first-year syllabus could be a bit focused on our courses. exams are mostly after a month.
Internships Opportunities
some companies that visited are Internz Valley, edgeverse, Accenture, IBM etc. average salary is provided. internships are from 2nd or 3rd year. there is a placement department which helps u with everything.
Placement Experience
placements and internships are started in the 3rd year I think. around 250 companies visit the clg and about 1000 students get placed. highest package has been around 50 lpa and the average is about 4.5 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
yearly tuition fee for an OBC reservation category student is 107945. An additional 20000 was collected as skill lab fees. hostel fees are 180000 for the Indian hostel and 215000 for the NRI hostel. fees are not increasing.
Campus Life
campus life is calm and beautiful. multiple clubs exist which are very friendly for first years to join. the infrastructure for every part of the campus is really god except the civil engineering building.
Hostel Facilities
4 sharing for Indian hostel and 2 sharing for Nri hostel. common washroom for a floor in indian but each room in nri has a connected washroom. the food in Indian is way better than nri. outside the college multiple pgs are available.
Admission
I applied to all the good engineering colleges in Bangalore like rv, bms, msr etc. couldn't get into them coz of their cutoff. placements are a bit ok compared to those colleges. campus is better I feel compared to those.
Faculty
many faculties are available for each department. faculty-to-student relationships are healthy and developing. our physics sir is excellent and his teaching methods are excellent. out maths mam, could improve her methods
Night Life
there is a college gym, canteen, library and a banyan tree where hang out. outside the campus has multiple good food spots for students. the locality around the college is safe. you should be back at the hostel by 9:30 pm.
