The course curriculum is very good . It is well formatted . The course curriculum helps the students to learn a lot of things (some in depth and some for their practical day to day knowledge). It also helps the students to handle real life situations.

I haven't done any internship because I am in 1st year currently and our college provides student internship opportunities after 2nd year . According to reports from Seniors, the internship opportunities are very good in our college . And some students of our college , having developed very good projects , get the best internships. Companies that come :- Airbus , Aditya Birla Group , L&T , Tata Steel Bsl, Wipro , CESC , Infosys

My college Placement Records is very good. I am mainly telling about the placement record yearwise In 2023 , the highest was 84 lakhs (LPA) and average was 11.08 lakhs (LPA) In 2022 , the highest was 183 lakhs (LPA) and average was 11.21 lakhs (LPA) In 2021 , the highest was 58 lakhs (LPA) and average was 8.89 lakhs(LPA) Many companies visit the campus like Google , Amazon , Samsung , Paytm , Tata Digital , Morgan Stanley , AirBus , TCS

Fees i would be paying in every year is divided in 2 parts 1st part:- In 1st sem of every year , i have to pay Rs. 1560 2nd part:- In 2nd sem of every year , i have to pay Rs.1200 The above includes tution fees During Registration for the first time , i was charged Rs.716 for the whole procedure. Before Semester Exam , I guess we will have to pay Rs . 40 to attend it All departments are charged the same , except the IT department which is charged :- 1st sem:- Rs.12860 2nd sem:- Rs.12500 3rd sem to 8th sem :- Rs. 15000 Scholarships are available for students whose annual income is very less , they are helped by alumni.

There are many events conducted in our college such as SRIJAN :- The Annual Tech Fest of JU SANSKRITI :- The Cultural Fest of JU (one of the biggest college fests) UTURN :- Sports for only 1st Year There are many clubs in college with active participation like Mechatronics Club , Coding Club , IEEE , Mountain Hiking Club and so on The campus life is very good , students have much independence and they are very responsible. The facilities provided are good and reasonable with the fees taken.

I chose this college over other colleges because it is one of the best , top rated engineering college in West Bengal . JU has a good past record and also it was established in 1955 , so it is one of the oldest college holding it's reputation over ages . I have also got chance to many IITs and NITs , but i didn't go on seeing it's home proximity and also it's NIRF ranking and placement records. The admission procces is very simple . You have to clear WBJEE exam which is the state level entrace exam conducted by WB Education Board. For getting a seat in CSE department and being general category it is advisable to secure a rank < 160 for guaranteed seat.

In my department , the class strength is somewhat 90 and the number of full-time faculty is approximately 25. So the ratio turns out to be 18:5 . All faculties are great , but i liked mostly the teaching approach of Computer and Electrical Department Faculties. There are two semester exams per year in JU . In each semester , there are two class test per subject and also at the end there are internals, lab reports for lab classes. Different subjects have different credits based on it's importance.

No there was no group dicussion held during admission and also no interview was held during admission You just have to qualify WBJEE exam and secure a good rank preferably < 160 (for CSE), just have to study well in class 11 and 12 , and secure a seat there .

There are 6 canteens in the campus and evening time is mostly spent there with friends. Also there are hangout spots like Jheel Par , Green Zone which are great spots to sit and have a talk with friends during afternoon Talking about the night life , I haven't spend much but the moments i have spent are memorable . According to my knowledge the campus is open till 9 pm. Famous hangout places outside college :- South City Mall
