I chosed this college because of my webjee rank which aligned with the admissson criteria. placements are good students are eligible for placement after 6th and 7th semester . the placement cell is very good in this college .
Overall campus life is good classrooms are decent . lift service is available . library is big in this college with all kinds of books
location of the college is good as it is situated in it hub of kolkata , where many companies are present

Dislikes

There is no ac in classrooms and labs which is not good as summer is very hot in kolkata.
The canteen area is small and decent not so big
college does not have own hostel because of this we have less scope of enjoyment

interships are provided by companies like tcs, accenture, wipro, aws etc which are less payable internships many students crack hackathons and get interships in good big companies like google microsoft etc.

Placement Experience

As a first year student I dont have direct experience with the campus place,ment yet. in general student becaome eligible for placement after 3rd year of college . as i got feedback from my seniors they told me thart the college placement are good and they got placed in top companies . However there are few students who got offcampus placement in top companies

Fees and Financial Aid

I chose this college because of my Wbjee Ranking. Fess structure of this college is as 1st year 155000 , 2nd year 150000, 3rd year 150000, 4th year 150000 . loan facilities are available . No hostel is provided so hostel fees are not mentioned. for sc and st fees are 20000 per year which is very less. scholarship for west bengal student are provided if semester results are outstanding

Admission

I chose this college becuse my wbjee rank, which aligned with the admisson requirement for this institution.My college ranks among top 5 college os west bengal, which made it an apealing choice . the quality of education offered is very good .

Faculty

college faculty are decent helpful , the help in any kind of problems related to academics . college dont put any pressure for fees payment and late fine is only 500 per month which is very less compared to other collage. exams are conducted by makaut which is government body . written exam of 70 marks and 30 marks by college . lab exam are taken in presence of external examiner.

Night Life

college have two ground but no campus so at night students are not allowed to enter college . Overall outside the college the city is enjoyable so students like to explore the city more than college . college dont have gym badminton playground

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
