Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose the ece over cse because as we know that by 2027 the semiconductor is going to boom and there will be a high demand of electronic and communication engineers. Well, the workshop class actually help a little for 1st year to know about the basics of semiconductor. Umm what I feel is that we should get more pratical rather then theory. Difficulty level is somewhat moderate and exam frequency I have told earlier so like that only

Internships Opportunities

4

I haven't been for any internship but ya I am planning for it and I will surely see it for future and seniors were also telling but I don't have enough skill so I just get back off. The recent project I have been is a series voltage regulator which I get and it helped me to know this branch more

Placement Experience

4

I guess from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies visiting here are cognizant technology, zomato, tcs , tata motors , Infosys, wipro and flipkart which I have seen as far and the highest is around 30lpa and I guess 80% have placed. My plans after getting degree is to get into a well known semi conductor industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The few structure is like you have to pay per semester which is 1,25,000 for my branch and for hostel non AC it's 100000 per year. And there is nothing special for or benefits for caste system. And the fees of my batch mates are same as me and there is one scholarship which college provide itself if you secure 8 cgpa

Campus Life

4

There are no fest here as all the places here are filled with various buildings and all there there is no technical fest. Overall the college life will be boring if you don't have any friends but if you have good then you can go out . As I told library is the best possible thing in this college and sports are also here but I haven't indulged in many and there are seniors who run different clubs and all

Hostel Facilities

3

Facilities in the room is like you get a bed and a locker a table and a chair that's it and ya we have wifi in our room it's a four sharing room non AC . Hostel food is what I personally don't like as being a vegetarian as there are non veg every day and the smell of that is eww and the food is really very oily For hostel you have to pay the fees for a year and then you have to fill a form and they just allot it randomly and sent it to your mail In the iter soa lane there are many pg's

Admission

First of all I applied for only BITS Pilani which I didn't get and secondly I choose because the nirf ranking was really good and this college is near to my relatives so in any case of problem they can rush up to me. I get rejected from bits pilani as I was not able to secure good marks in BITSAT. To get into soa you have to give SAAT exam and you must secure 90 percentile in jee mains and also 80% in 12th boards.

Faculty

5

Faculty members are really amazing they helped me a lot and many times as I was not able to give mid sem so they arranged re mid for me. And exam system is same as other college first two quiz then mid sem then again 2 quiz and end sem. 40 marks from mid sem and 60 marks from end sem total 100 marks.

Night Life

5

The cafeterias and food court is amazing in the night time the best lighting and all it feels amazing while you roam at night and the food is also really good but sometimes it seems it's overpriced but ya it's okay. Hostel time to enter at night is 9pm after that they close the door and you have to call your parents huhhh. And places to hangout are park near to college and many monuments are also here like khandagiri and Uday Giri hills and they all are safe to roam at night also

Other Applied Colleges

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students. The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini. The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
