POSTIVE REMARKS ARE GOOD PLACEMENT COPERATIVE SENIORS AND FACULTY CAMPUS BEAUTY NEGATIVE REMARKS for 1st year students there is no guideness to tell them where your classrooms are and no one is there to resolve there issue they have to find the way by themself.

My branch is Computer Science and everyone knows that its a trending branch. Everywhere computer engineer demand is there and talking about course curriculum in 8 semestere you have to phase many subjects that are purely theortical but many subjects are practical too. cs focus on the implementation of real world problems and solution

As per my knowledge our college does not provide any internship but in starting of third year many companies visit our college for internship with stipend range 5 thousand to 45-50 thousand. Many of the students of our class also got internship in companies like amazon,Jpmc, expedia etc.

Placements and job opportunities are awesome and too good for Cs and Ec branch but for rest of the branch it just touch the level. Package ranges from 3 LPA to 40 LPA. Chemical branch placements are also good compare to rest of the branch.

There are many events that are celebrated in our college. Main events are 1. Techniti (Tech fest) 2. Utkansh ( cultural Fest) 3. sports meet in technical fest many technical events of different brances are organaised such as code jam of cs , circuit building of ece and many mores. utkansh is a cultural fest in which student enjoys many cultural events. Sports meet is the event in which students take part in many sports and get awarded from college.

Fee structure is feasible for the students whose parents salary is between 2 to 5 lakh. It is 44500 per sem for these students. and for rest of the students it is 77500 per sem. Sc category have to pay no fee.

Sorry But i did not get any scholarship from my college but many of the students availed it. Ant detail about new scholarship gets available on the official website if nitj i.e. www.nitj.ac.in. students of different states gets scholarship based on different criteria

Other than course curriculam many extra activities are also there. In lab practicals are performed and for sports there is a sports club anyone willing to play any game can go to gymnasium and play the game they wants. Gym for boys is Also provided in the college.

Boys hostel facilities and infrastructure are good than the girls hostel. For girls of 1st year the hostel is ok ok and mess food is also ok ok and for 2nd year girls hostel provides is same as 1st year girls hostel but different building. and for 3rd year and final year girls same hostel is there and it is having new infrastructure and also good mantinance.

Seniors are too cooperative and friendly in nature. There is no ragging in this college. Seniors trear us as their friends and share there experiance with us. we can go to them at any time and ask them anything and they tells us everthing they can tell on their end.

In One semester 3 times exam occurs M1 M2 and Majors. M1 and M2 are of 20 marks and Majors are of 50 Marks and 10 marks are in the hand of teacher based on your performance during the semester. Exam contains question based on what is taught in the class.

pass the JEE MAINS exam cutoff and after getting good marks in JEE MAINs exam (holds in april 1st week) wait for the rank and after getting rank (july starting) you have to take part in counsling process which holds on jeemain official portal. in counsling process you have to fill your choice of college and branch that you want according to priority and based on your rank you may or may not get the seat in many rounds of counsling. In my time i got seat in Nit jalandhar at 1st round of cousling.

Faculty of CS department is very co-operative. Not only cs department all department faculty is very helpful except mechanical department (little strict). We can freely talk to any of our teacher on any topic also the knowledge they have to their subject is supreme.
