Remarks

Some of the faculties were not good but the positive point is that you can complain in the administration and the faculty will be replaced if found unworthy. Sports and other extra curricular activities are good though.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I was a BCA student so the first semester was all about other subjects like environmental science and electronic as described under UGC. But the syllabus is explained very deeply and thoroughly. In every semester the course was completed before 10-15 days of the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the university do provide internships but I did from Microsoft Trainedge which is in Hazratganj so can't say a lot but the friend who did the internship in the university itself. They appreciated a lot to the trainers and made awesome projects.

Placement Experience

2.5

So many companies come to recruit the students like Wipro, TCS and Mahindra etc. You can give pre test and then appear in the interview. You will be selected accordingly. Packages are also satisfactory.

College Events

5

So many events are organised like Gaming competitions in which I was winner in the last year. The biggest event known as Anubhuti is organised every year in which so many programs are involved like quizzes, workshops, games, singing and dance competitions etc. You are love that function.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is high but feasible as well because you are given scholarships by the university if your performance is really good. So yes it is feasible. The students who are not from prosperous family are given discount as well. If you are not submitting the fee in the given time period then some fine is included but If there is any genuine reason behind then it will be considered as zero you don't have to pay any fine. Bank of India is also there as the university bank so you can easily avail the education loan as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any kind of loan but you can avail that from the university bank which is Bank of India but I got scholarship of 10k in the first semester because of percentage in the intermediate. Then you will be given scholarships by the university according to your performance.

Campus Life

3

Labs are scheduled for every practical subject and guest lectures. Tournaments are also organized with other colleges and universities in terms of sports. I was not a sports person but the basketball, volleyball, and cricket tournaments are organized basically.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Food quality was little less maybe because of numbers but other facilities are really good. Staff is supportive there. Cleanliness is maintained and a good study environment. You can change the room on the request also with your classmates if you want. Three times food two times snacks. 24×7 electricity and water. And the most important thing, fee is really feasible compared to outside.

Alumni/Alumna

More than the faculties, seniors were supportive. They were more friends than seniors. They are really helpful and supportive. All you have to do is just maintain a level of respect with them and you will get each and every help you need.

Exam Structure

There are several tests before the main semester exam is organised. Surprise tests, assignments, vivas, Presentations are also considered in internal marking and the university follows the relative marking structure.

Admission

As I told I heard a lot of it. So I went to the admission office with my friend which is in Lalbagh, Lucknow. There I got the prospectus of the university and other formalities that were required for the admission process. You can visit the university directly and approach to the Administration department and head to the admission cell you will get the information. You will be given a date or the exam will be scheduled on the same day you went to university if possible and Result will be declared in quite hours till the time you can visit the university. You will be given a checklist of documents then if passed which you have to submit under the given date to complete the admission process. Then submit the semester fee and you are ready to go. If you are a bright student and your merit is high then you will get the discount as well.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are really supportive. You can ask the doubts and questions anywhere and anytime in the university. Even you can go to the staff room if some help is needed. They put a lot of efforts on the students. Some subjects were really new to me like CBNST and Electronics but the faculties of the subjects were awesome and each and every topic was made clear.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
