Vijaybhoomi University Experience

We have total of 160 credits for 4 years and we have to complete 40 credicts per year. In total we have to complete 32 from other program courses, 32 practical. This structure help us study other feild of interest. We get the opertunity to do minor from other programs of our interest.

We have ccle department, centre for continous learning and employability. The department focuses on getting internships from variou companies including the startups. They offer internships mostly from startups. They offer on roles including marketing, data engineer, data analyst, research intern, software development etc, projects focused on many problem statements. Mostly the internships are not stipend based, if they are, the stipend ranges fom 10 to 15 thousand. Some include Aidkriya where we developed a donation prediction model. There is no Stipend for this internhsip.

The college is established recently and only one batch got placements. The package is not that high but was near 3.5 lakhs per annually. They did good amount of projects and internships with the help of faculty's connections but not by the college. Currently we have a good connection with faculty and they are helping us get involved in multiple projects or internships. This would definately help us get the jobs.

We were supposed to pay a registration fee initially of 50000 and 40000 for almuni fund, student council fund etc. Tution and hostel fee include 200000 per year for both tution and hostel fee. Maharashtra citizens will get a scholarhsip of 50 %. This university further provides scholarships for economically weaker section.

We have many activities going on in our college for festivals and other cultural activities. There are many educational clubs as well like coding, E-cell clud etc. Along with it we have other clubs for extra ciriculum like sports, dance, cultural etc. The student council included many departments that cover many interests, where the students can join the departments.

we have rooms where, 4 people have to stay together with an combined washroom and 3 people stay in attached washroom. We get table, bed, matress, light and cupboard. We have to carry all the nessesary stuff including the bedsheets, our basic needs. We have to wash our clothes and have to get the stands to dry clothes. Laundry service is also available with charges. Food Will be provide 3 times a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have sodexo services which is not that bad. We have retail counter where you get fastfoods and snacks for reasonable prices. Once you get amitted, there will be form and declarations for the hostel registration as well. The college will completely guide you and give information of the proccess. Im staying the campus hostels itself.

I was looking for scholarship which i got here. I didnt get admitted to the other colleges i apply. I planned to apply in other countries but had difficulty and lengthy process of Visa. That is the reason i chose this college. I also wanted to study away from my home. I had a university counsellor who suggested this college and i agreed to her. There was written exam and an interview for the application.

The faculty are really good. They take personal care of the students. They are flexible and will be able to give extra time to cover the unclear topics. However, the faculty of other programs are not that flexible or responisble as the Btech faculty. We have a term wise system in our college. We have unit test 1 , mid term exam, unit test 2 and end term exam for each term. We mostly have practical exams, where we impliment the topics learned through assignments or projects.

We had a amplitute test and personal interview. The test pattern included basic general questions, essay writing on the topic give and the internview includes the basic questions incuding the family background, questions related to subject or course choosen.

The night life would be really good. The temperate would be nice. There are mant places to hangout in the night with friends till 12 inside the campus and till 9 outside the campus. Many spots include, Amphitheatre, backgroud, ground, steps in the campus. All these places are open. It gives a clear view of sky and stars. As the location of the college is far, there is very less pollution, which results in clear view of stars and sky. There are many spots outside the campus as well which includes hillls, dam view etc. There are affordable restaurents and shops around the college to hangout and have food.
