Likes

I like the most in the college is the teaching staffs.
The infrastructure is quite good. Cafeteria,Auditorium and many things.
The facilities like water,modern classroom.

Dislikes

Placements. About 20-30% students were placed.
The annual fest that is xavier utsa that doesn't happened since 2020.
Too many students in bcom department.its like 750+

Placements in this college is not that good like in my department 20-30% students placed every year and from semester 5 students are eligible for this.From the date of Admission i saw there are many companies came.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee when i take admission in 2023 for bachelor of commerce (Accounts)was ?33650 and now for the same course the fees increased to ?42900,That was worth it for sure.For reserved category there is discount and they offer scholarship to reserved category and its upto ?40000

Campus Life

If you come to this college for your academics performance and socializing then this college is the best option for you.As this college offers many clubs that built your personality.This college offers NCC,NSS,Rotract,Geo club,etc.

Admission

I choose this college because of my future goals as i want to became CA and bcom in this college helps and made commerce students able to tackle problems in future.The admission criteria for bcom in this college is entrace exam that is taken by college and a students must be passed 12th with min 50% .

Faculty

The faculty member or teaching staff ik st xavier's college ranchi is too good like they all came from higher studies. Like soke of them did CA,CS,MBA,LLB,NET and many higher degrees .there are 4 exams held in a year 2 mid sem 2 end sem.about 80% students passed.

Interview Experience

For admission in st xavier's college ranchi you have to pass college's entrace exam.The eligibility for writing a entrace exam is that passed 12th with minimum of 50% with any boards.The syllabus of entrace exam is very easy.

Night Life

St xavier's college ranchi made students life joyful as this college offers many things for like 3 cafeterias, basket courts,football grounds,gym.St xavier's college ranchi also offers hostel for students.

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
