Honest Opinion of IIITM Gwalior .

The core cs branch made me choose this ciricullum. The CSE ciricullum is upto the date. We are expected to make projects that solves some real life projects. The teaching methodolgy is good and interactive with modern technologies. 2 Exams occur per semester and are not tough but prepration time is less.

The ineternships are provided from 3rd year onwards in big companies like Google india and amazon with upto 1l per month stipend. The internships are generally for web dev roles.The college itself promtes you to create and biuld projects from 1st year itself.

Students from 4th yr are eligible for Campus placemts. Some of the companies are Groww,Google,Rakuten, Goldman Sachs, IBM etc. Highest 63 lpa and avg 22.5 lpa. 90 percent of students get placement every year. Pursuing SDE Role in big tech companies.

1st year fees:2,70000 INR Tution fees:1,60000 INR Admission fees:75000 INR For SC/ST/EWS Students fees is approx 50000 per year. There is Merit cum means (MCM)based scholarship which is given on basis of JEE Rank for 1st year and based on cgpa from subsequent years.

There are multiple fests like Infotsav(November), Urja(Januray), Aurora(August) And Celestia. There is system for finding bbok in library. The classroom are air conditioned with Projectors and proper lighting. There is a huge sport complex and most of the well known sports can be pursued here. There are many clubs like rotaract,IEEE, dramatics club etc.

There are spacious room and coolers are available with charges adequate switchboards and cupboards and bed and study table are provided. The Meal Quality and taste is same as any other govt college. registratyion process is very simple and is integrated with college fees.

I applied for IIIT Allahbad, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Nit suratkhal , Kurukshetra, Allahabad. I choose it due to good reviews and distance from home. No such rejection but high cutoff. The admission for Btech is purely on JEE Mains Examination.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 and varies branchwise.They are very supportive. Dr.Pinku Ranjan,Dr.Anuwedita are some of the best faculties and are interactive with students. All the faculty people are good. There is one major and minor per semester they are easy to pass if studied.1-2 Students fail the examination. The ciricullum is based on new poilicies.

Gym is accesible 24*7, Cafetria are open upto 2Am in night. Library from 10AM to 10PM.Other public areas are accessible anytime. Hostel Timings are only applicable for 1st yr and is till 9pm in night. There is gwalior fort,bijatal lake and Cafes in gwalior.
