Remarks
The negative thing in our college is that wifi is not that good it becomes slow sometimes beside this the college drainege system is not good something during raining season college are suspended because of poor drainage system
Course Curriculum Overview
My department is ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING my course is about Semi-conductor , op-amp , transaction , microprocessor etc beside this we learn about different programming language like C, Java and Data-structure
Internships Opportunities
Our college provide internship but not to all department the provide internship to mechanical department and civil department the visit different power plants, for other department they can do internship of there own during college break college will give the required permission to do the internship of there own
Placement Experience
The placement is good for ECE and IT department student because majority of companies are of IT sector, which requires good programming knowledge like C and java , the placement is poor for non IT department like mechanical and civil as there are very few companies for them
College Events
There are lot of events celebrated in our college like college fest , robotics , electronics enovation. etc any one can participate in this event and showcase there talent beside this there is also Extracurricular activities which include dancing , singing , acting, and poster presentation etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
During the time of admission the college will charge 80000rs this amount may change every year In every semester the fee is different but as an average its about 40000rs so according to me its little bit expensive
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't received any scholarships but my friend who is from jharkhand got scholarships by jharkhand government , which is for OBC,SC and ST student who are doing b-tech in this scholarship scheme they got around 20 -40 thousand per year by jharkhand government
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities happens in college in a regular basis there are different events like mirage,kasar, in this every student get an opportunity to so case there talent , departmental sports compition is also there which include cricket football basketball etc, every department have there different labs according to requirements
Hostel Facilities
In our college there are 2 separate hostel one for boys and another for girls the boys hostel is further divided into 3 hostel one is for freshers another one is for 2nd year student and third is for 3rd and 4th year student the infrastructure is quit good the food is also great
Alumni/Alumna
Senior student and alumni student are every helpful for every junior they are the guideline for every junior student they teach us and also share their knowledge ,there is a misconception that senior do ragging in college but i thik this is not ture for every college at least in my college
Exam Structure
The exam is conduct by MAKAUT which is ( Maulana abul kalam aazad University of technology ) there are total 8 semester in b-tech carrier, each semester include internal exams, practice exams etc in each semester there is an average if 5 subjects
Admission
First of all i give entrance exam of WBJEE after my class 12 board exam according to general merit list i got few colleges among those i found ASANSOL ENGINEERING COLLEGE the best, you can also get into our college thought JEE mains entrance exam
Faculty
My college faculty is very good the teacher are very helpful and caring they are always willing to help us the give us extra classes to clear our queries there lecture are enough to get good marks in Semester exam
