Likes
- Cleaning should be improved. And there is one problem that mobile internet got close in Anexxe building where most of the classes occurs. Class infrastructure improvement should be improve. Projectors are there but they're old.
- The Campus life is great because luckily we have a canteen also there're Swings outside where we can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Two Gardens are there, one is big and another is small. The campus is very huge ,may u got tired when visit first time.
- The teachers and their teachings u would love but also they are strict. The break usually happens at 12:30 to 1:00 pm.
Dislikes
- Cleaniness in and out of buildings and old infrastructure.
- Majorly Black boards are there instead of white boards.
- Network problem under Anexxe building where most of the classes are scheduled. And wifi access is given but not working properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.E in Automobile is good specially doing from LDCE because as Automobile field is raising day by day. It could be great field for enthusiastic car people. It's increasing opportunities for students to grow up more. While talking about my aspects I seen nothing but prestige of LDCE and choosen this field as I am going to do it from ldce. The Curriculum can be better if new things which has come like ev's and hydrogen engines are added to syllabus. The Curriculum of Automobile is typically hard with my perspective because u will need so much practice in maths, the mid semester exams are easier then the main semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know about internships that are offered in LDCE yet. But from my seniors I heard some companies visit to college for internship program are Mahindra, Tata, Ashok Leyland Maruti Suzuki etc. Sorry but I don't know much about the projects and their outcomes as to be honest.
Placement Experience
I think from 8 th semester students are eligible for placements. I heard one of the companies name: Mahindra, Tata, Honda and even some software companies which head to LDCE for placements. I don't know exactly about how highest and average package they offer but I can say that it could be 6-8 lakhs per annum. Sadly but only 10% of students get placements because companies have a requirement of toppers only. If I talk about my plans after my degree in BE Automobile, Then I will do a master degree in ME Mechanical from LDCE only street clearing gate exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees( ACPC TOKEN FEES) is. 1280rs.The fee structure of LDCE for UG(BE/BTECH) ranges from 8500rs to 9520rs anually(All included). And for PG(BE/BTECH) it is 4500rs to 9520rs anually(All included).It does not increases by the time. And it provide Scholarship for SC,ST,SEBC and also Indian Oil Scholarship to open category. For SEBC Amount of Scholarship is ? 6598825.00 and no. Of beneficiaries are 737. For Sc the amount of scholarship is ? 4501130.00 and no. Of beneficiaries are 47. For ST students it is ? 4501130.00 and no. of beneficiaries are 240. For Indian Oil Scholarship given to Open category students the amount of scholarship is ? 223750.00 and no. of beneficiaries are 13.
Campus Life
The other activities occurs in bunch, it means lots of other activities in which you can engage in including technical festivals. Here Clubbing is on means you can join any club and their various activities. While talking about the library it is very good. On G.F you can read books and on the first you can your own desk have for doing your own college work. In some of the classrooms there is a smart board like in our EGD classroom, where there is a need of it. CCTV cameras also avilable in whole campus. I don't know much about sport and extracurricular activities because I admitted a short time ago only but I can say that all sports activities occurs here ,even there is huge ground for it.
Admission
This college is ranked no.1 Government college in Gujarat. It's popolarity is nationally spreaded because students from Nagaland, Maharashtra and from other states came here for study in this college. This college was just like my dream before admission, I hadn't imagine that I will study in this college. This college is the best among all the government and several private colleges. If I admitted to another college suppose any private, I have to pay the fees but also not having quality education, teachers, etc. The admission process is only possible through ACPC. You can take admission by registering yourself on ACPC website after your 12 th result of PCM came
Faculty
Course:- The B.E in Automobile is a 4 year course 8 semesters are there. Faculty members are Very good. They Understand much better to us. They are very intelligent and have a very good communication skills even they can explain and teach in mainly three languages hindi english and gujarati. They good catch the doubts of students. They help them out, they even solve doubts after the lectures and in thier free time. I will take the name of one of our best sir 'Ramesh Damor' . In exams Two students are sitting on the bench but belongs to different semester and in each class there are two faculties incharge for examiner, They make sure that no cheating occurs and they became very strict at the time of exam. They are very punctual to exam rules.
Night Life
The area in which it is situated it is very rich area, even you can see there expensive cars there. I live in Ahmedabad only and LDCE is not much distant to me so simply I live on my house not in any hostel or PG so I can't tell about the nightlife around it. But I can say that it would be great because the area is very well. Also just nearby we have Gujarat University situated, also other Universities like CEPT are near to us. Our campus timing is from 8:00am to 6pm.
