Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is designed to dhspe you into a doctor who is ready to save lives. It prepares to treat people and fix their illnesses. The exams are conducted regularly both theory and practical to ensure all round developent of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per semester fees is ?4500 which totals to around ?9000 per year for tuition fee. The admission fees is ?1050. Also there are other small fees for other things. But in total in the 5.5 years of the course the fees is approx ?43000.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good. Ther's playground, garden, a badminton court and other things to spend quality time. We also have an annual fest called "Chronaxie" it's usually held in sept-oct. The college infrastructure is really good. The college library has all the medical books and more. The classrooms are nice, tidy and fully air-conditioned with blackboard, whiteboard and projector.

Admission

We get admission in the medical colleges through neet counselling where you neet rank matters. So I was alloted this college according to my rank. And I'm really happy with it. Our college takes admission through NEET - UG examination like all other medical colleges in India. The cutoff for NEET varies from state to state and from category. But you need really good marks to get selected in any medical college through NEET. My admission experience was really nice. My admission was done in a day after I got allotment from counselling.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good. There are 3-4 professors in each department along with more assistant professors and pgts too. The faculty is also friendly. You can easily approach them if you face any issue academically or in general. I really like Asst. Professor Dr. Satyajit Saha. His way of teaching is really amazing and he is a student fav among first year students. Also the HODs of all the departments are really amazing. There are class tests every other week. And part conpletion test every month, semister exams every 6 months and finally the main exam the university/professional exam at the end of each year. Almost all the students pass thanks to our amazing teachers. The course structure is really good and practical ensuring all round skill development.

Night Life

4

The night life in and around college is okay. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Also gyms and other essential stores are also present. There's also a mall nearby which is really nice. The hostel closing timing is 10:30 at night. The campus is open 24*7 as it's also a hospital. The campus is also really safe. You can easily go for a walk in the middle of the night. Also the surrounding locality around the college is also really safe. Thee are many famous hangout places near the college a few of which are YMA Ground, Mohan Mall, Square Field and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
