Remarks

There are no events conducted and it has somewhat school environment this is a negative remark, a positive one on the other hand is that if a person really just want to study, it a good place for him/her.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is nice and all the major subjects that we need to know to work in corporates after BCA are taught in this college, though there must be some additional subjects too so that we can expand our vision other than programming etc which is not in our curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't provide us internship, at least not in my course, they didn't even inform or suggest us about any kind of internship, students who wanted to do internship did on their own, there was no help provided by the college whatsoever.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements in our college is average, this year companies like HCL, Vipro etc came for the recruitment for both technical and non technical background students. The average package was 2lpa and the highest was 2.5lpa for non technical background students in Vipro.

College Events

1.5

There are no events that are conducted by our college, this is a major drawback that we face being students of NPGC, general programs like independence day programs or republic day programs are conducted by the college. Many seminars and lectures on different field are albeit conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is moderate, neither very expensive bor very feasible. I did BCA full time and my fees per semester was approximately 30k, that becomes 60k for 1year. Many other courses like bcom have much less fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not give any scholarship as such but they keep on informing us about various scholarship offered by government and help us getting that for example UP SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME was availed by many students

Campus Life

2.5

Being a BCA students in know about computer labs, they are full air conditioned big labs with up to dated systems, moreover labs for other subjects are also good, spacious and with all the equipments, though I haven't heard about sports room and there is no field where different sport activities can be conducted. We have big auditoriums, mostly where our seminars and lectures are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities provided by the college is good, though it's not very big. Only few students can live their and they select students according to their merit. Mess facilities are okay and environment is good, rooms are spacious.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have much senior junior interaction in our college, mostly we don't even know who is our senior others junior, it is beneficial because there are no ragging whatsoever because of this but sometimes we need senior students for guidance and we don't get that.

Exam Structure

The years are divided into semesters, each year has two semesters and there is exam conducted at the end of each semester and internal tests before each semester exam. We have 70 marks semester exam and rest 30 marks are given according to our class performance, attendance and the internal tests.

Admission

First i filled their online application form then I was given a date for entrance test which was conducted in National P. G. Itself then after giving the entrance I got a message that i had backed 66th rank in their test and was called for counseling process, since there were only 60 seats in BCA i was scared of not getting into the college but somehow I made it and finally after submitting the fees on that very day i got admitted in the college.

Faculty

3

Faculty is good some teachers work very hard and really put their effort in teaching us and some don't. Though they reach us nicely they aren't that open minded and friendly with us, even their are some teachers who are biased towards certain students which in my opinion is a major problem with faculty of my department.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
