Our library is one the best faculty in university. It's brilliantly structured and provide all kind of material.
Sports faculty in Archery. Our college's leading sport is archery and is very popular and some kind of new sport in trend.

Dislikes

Our college do not have proper ground for sports like football or cricket.
Some of the teacher faculties are arrogant and do not behave properly and respectively to students

Course Curriculum Overview

I find the curriculum to be wel structured and diverse, covering a range of subjects that provide a strong foundation in my field of study. One of the key reason I chose this course is the balance between theoretical concept and physical application of subjects.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid my first year fee as 14000, but in second year i paid 18000. So it is clearly increasing! Basically i belong to SC family, and there is an additional fee for opting practical subjects. My friend is GENERAL who paid 15000 in 1st year and 19500 in second year! There are all DU aids presents.

Campus Life

Yes, my campus life was so excited as my college cover a massive area and infrastructure is also very good like the science block is very attractive and well infrastructured area. Our library is super great, as i mentioned above, we have every kind of books available in our library.

Admission

This college was near to my home, and my brother got pass from this college itself. I applied for more colleges like SRCC but was not able to join that because I haven't got enough marks. The admission process of my college is very simple like we have to give the CUET that is Central University entrance test and is we clear then we can get admission at my college.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is pretty good as there are 70-75 maximum students in any class, teacher can maintain respective and good relations with students. Mrs Sonam Tomar maam was my favourite, she taught hrm in our 1st sem and then Organisational behaviour in third semester! Mr Alok, teacher of our evs subject is got disliked by me, he was so arrogant.

Night Life

My favourite hangout spot near my college is nehru place social, and epicuria also there's is lotus temple. Also there is a pool billiards in front of our college, i love to play billiards with my friends ????

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
