Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum has focuses on base subjects of engineering and also on the overall development of student by giving lab session and also life skill and social subject in the course. In real world application there aren't more courses. Use of more modern technology in teaching and also in lab latest apparatus. Exams are well planned we get the academic calendar in which it is mention so we can plan liek wise for exam.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many comapnies recruits for internship such as Google , Amazon, JP Morgan , Wipro , etc . but as i'm first year i don't know as much of internships but usually there is stipend of 10k or more than that depends one skills and company .

Placement Experience

4

For campus placement students are eligible from 7th semester and the criteria is min of 7.5 CGPA. There are more than 100 of companies visiting college for placement such as RELIANCE , INDIAN OIL , BAJAJ , JP MORGAN, QUALCOMM, TATA , MAHINDRA , GODREJ , AMAZON , ETC. over on an average 175-180 companies visit and offers around 600-650 packages including all branches. Highest Package for CSE , ECE is 64 lpa and CHEM , EE , META , MECH is around 31 lpa and MIN and CIV is around 15 lpa and average packages are 16.80 , 12.44 , 10.51 , 11.54 , 8.43 , 10.15 respectively . About 75 % students are placed who apply for in campus placement . I'll try for out campus or further pursue for competitive exams .

Fees and Financial Aid

For SC/ST there isn't any tution fees they just have to pay academic fees and one time fee of 15,000 at the time of admission , and after that just SC/ST students have to pay 5,500 per semester and 11,000 per year which is academic fees which includes caution fees , lab fees , etc. OBC has the tution fees it doesn't has any difference with GEN , for GEN tution fees is around 65,000 per sem and academic fees is around 15,000.

Campus Life

4

There are many festivals takes place in the college such as Aarohi , Techfest , Kaarwan , Axis etc. There are many books available in library but accessible to all students it's not big enough to provide books assitance for all students . It's like first come first serve. For lectures we have a special building where all classes takes place , all classes are aid with smart board as well as black board , projector and speaker , mic all are smart classes with the all equipments to be called as smart room . For first year we have 4-6 pm separate sports time slot where we can focus on our skills . We have are own swimming pool, volley ball court , basket ball court , cricket ground , football ground , etc . There are various clubs like E- cell , Octaves , Halla bol , Compereing , etc. yes it impacts your student because of exposure of extra curricular activites.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms are big enough for 3 people but it's 2 seater . Rooms have 2 fans , 2 tubelight , 4 Ethernet ports , 4 Wardrobes , 2 table and 2 chair for both students . Mess quality is not good it's disappointing i would reccomend don't take mess rather pay every day for meal which is 50/- per dinner and lunch and 35/- breakfast as most of time you won't be going to mess . Registration is done offline while you come for admission and easy process there are seniors for helping and Hostel + Mess cost is 31,250 /- rupees.

Admission

I applied in VJTI and got confirmed admission VJTI ECE branch but i choose VNIT nagpur over VJTI because VNIT nagpur is a national level college and VJTI is a state level college and in engineering college name matter and like IITian NITian tag matters for job purposes. No i didn't get rejection from other colleges . JEE MAINS is the exam you need to qualify in order to get admission in NIT or IIIT collges admission experiences is smooth

Faculty

3

One faculty per 100 students or whatever the strength of class may be . Faculties name such as A. REDDY is good for Engineering Drawing sir is strict but teaching wise very good. There are 4 exams per year consisting of 2 semester Every semester consists of 1 mid term and 1 end term difficulty level is moderate in mid term and for end term it's more tough.

Night Life

5

Gym is one of the best among all NIT's as it consists of almost all neccessary euipments . Cafeterias is quite odd as it doesn't so big and it's menu after sometime you will feel bore but better than mess food. Hostel rooms are big and with all necessary euipments and campus in timing is 10.30 pm for both boys and girls . Hostel in time only for first year for both girls and boys is 9.00 pm and excluding first years boys have no hostel in time but girls have in time of 9 pm . In campus it's safe to roam at night but outside i wouldn't suggest to go out rather you aren't allowed to leave campus after 10.30 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
