Course Curriculum Overview
The course is as same as followed by all the NITs and IITs.The syllabus is not huge it is compact and sufficient and to the point. Exams are classified in Minors and Mid Sem. Institute gives opportunities for researches as various research papers are published by the professors and students here.
Placement Experience
Placements scenario is good here as I have asked about it by some of the seniors, who are placed or studying in the 3rd and 4th year. Average Packages of all branches are good.
College Events
There are two events organized in the college, first is techniti which is a technical fest and another one is Utkansh which is a cultural festival. In techniti various competitions are organized and students from various colleges visit here to participate. Utkansh is cult fest so it is all about to enjoy and refresh yourself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure for various courses is different. But the average fee is nearly about 6 lakhs. Scholarships are available here. For the first year, fees are nearly 6 lakhs for academics and hostels. Other expenses are based on you how you expend money on others' thinks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Your 2/3rd fees are exempted if your family income is below Five lakhs. Many scholarships are given on the basis of reservation to aid the needy one.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome here. Although first-year have some restrictions. But you can explore as many things here. Campus Size is 154 acres. Gender Ratio is 1:4 as it is an engineering college. Labs are cleaned and well equipped. The sports facilities are good here. There are many societies here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees are nearly 25000. Hostels are good but little bit small rooms. Surrounding is good here. Mess food is average as it is i. all institutes. Attendants and wardens are good. They connect with the students to help them. All the things are quite good except for some restrictions.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are good and are helpful.NITJ has a strong alumni network. There are companies and startups started here by some alumni.
Admission
For this one, we have to give jee main. On the basis of ranks or marks achieved college seat is offered. Generally, the exam is conducted in January and April month. After that various rounds are conducted through JosAA. Through JosAA you are allotted seat if your rank is between the range.
Faculty
The faculty is well experienced and qualified. They clear your doubts and make you think about the subjects and topics. Although some professors are a little bit rude. But overall it is good. Some professors are really good they help you to clear your doubts.
