Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is divided into 8 semesters. Each year has 2 semesters. The 1st year is the same for all branches. After 1st year each branch is specialized. The curriculum is well managed. The faculty is very supportive and helps in many situations.
Placement Experience
The college attracts many companies from the north and middle region of the country including giant MNCs like Microsoft, Wipro, HPCL, etc. The faculty helps in providing internships to students from 1st year itself and provides many workshops.
College Events
One of the biggest event techniti is held every year which includes many competitions. Hackathons are carried out. Many workshops to develop every technical area. The cultural fest also attracts many students. Many festivals are celebrated actively. The clubs in the college organize many events of their own.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure includes the semester fee and hostel fee and electricity bill included. The hostel mess fee was 25,000 rs. For veg and nonveg meal. The semester course was 70000rs. The other expenses only included the enmities of the hostel room and books.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not adopted for the scholarship. But the loan and scholarship can be availed from the administrative block.
Campus Life
The campus life is very interesting. It encourages many sports activities. It is full of diversity from all over India. The fender ratio is, boys are more and girls are comparatively less. We all our friends celebrate many moments together. The events help us to keep us engaged
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are spacious and the staff is very supportive. The mess food is ok and the sports facility is excellent. Discipline is well maintained. Snacks are also provided. The water quality is fine. Rooms have no ac. Each room has a balcony. The air circulation is excellent.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong and the seniors are highly supportive. The 4th year students guide us a lot.
Admission
I gave the examination Jee Mains. It was my first attempt and as this year jee mains occurred 2 times per year, I gave both the exams. I was provided a percentile (best out of two exams) during my jee mains result with ranking provided to me. In the month of June, JOSAA counseling started where I was asked to add my preferred college names under JOSAA. 7 rounds where there which showed for which college I was eligible in each round. During this process, I got admission into NIT Jalandhar. I got admission on 2 August 2019.
Faculty
Each faculty has its own office where students can go. Every teacher is highly specialized in his/ her field and is Ph.D. qualified. Recently many research is being carried out and ISRO labs are provided to help research students. Tech fest are carried out which included many completion and research projects.
