Remarks
College Management is very good, they are incorporating new things like "choice-based learning", mini-projects for almost every subject, compulsory seminar, etc. I think these things are building confidence and increasing the knowledge of the students. They conduct mid-term exams, tutorials which prove to be very helpful for the final exam since you have already studied half the syllabus earlier.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course I opted was MTech Electronics : For MTech Electronics - 10 subjects were there in the first year which includes Advanced VLSI, Advanced DSP, RF and Microwave, Biomedical technology which are really helpful in VLSI, Telecomm and Biomedical industries. They are driven as per industry perspective and Research analysis was one of the subjects which were very helpful for Ph.D. aspirants. Due to Advanced VLSI subject that I learned in F.Y.MTech my interest in VLSI got increased since all recent and advanced industry-based concepts are added in the course and that's why I decided to do the project in VLSI for S.Y.MTech and then my career too in the same.
Placement Experience
I did an internship in Advanced Numerical Research and Analysis Group (ANURAG), DRDO, Hyderabad for my second-year project.
College Events
Events: Robotics workshop and its competition: Interested students participate in the workshop and then competition based on training in workshop is taken which is very interesting. Virangula: Virangula is the annual entertainment event during the period of Jan or Feb.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure for me in the first year (2016-17) was Rs. 108000. You can pay for it in two terms. But you have to pay more than 50% in the first attempt and remaining in the second attempt. Other expenses include exam fees and the cost of assignment notebooks required for respective subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship since the EBC scheme is not available for MTech students. And no other scholarship was available for general category students.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome, the college has well-developed library, where almost all required study material including reference books, and other notes are available. The gender ratio is also well maintained and college has a diverse environment where one can find students from every corner not only from Maharashtra, India but also from foreign countries.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors was very helpful to me. I came to know about different internships availability and what needs to be prepare for it from them also along with college staff.
Admission
Through GATE exam M.Tech admission procedure is conducted. The GATE exam is in Feb and after its result declaration in March or April, the admission procedure will starts around in June. For this, you have to fill the admission form online and you can give options of different streams. One can opt for an interdisciplinary course for MTech. And the procedure will be continued till July. There will be 3 CAP rounds for admission.
Faculty
All the faculty members are highly educated and knowledgeable, so they have designed an industry-based course structure and deliver the course at the best. They can clear you all the doubts in a very good and easy way. So based on my experience, I would like to rate my teachers with 5 stars.
