Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had to prepare for civil services, that is why I came to the Hindi department and took Hindi as a subject because there is an optional paper in the civil services exam which also includes Hindi and that is for Hindi medium students. That is why I opted for Hindi Literature. Everything else is fine, I am studying well, exams are easy, not difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annually we have to pay around fifteen thousand to sixteen thousand rupees. Additional fees like library, registration of that semester and examination fees are all included in it. No separate fee is payable. This is not only the condition of Hindi department but almost all the departments have the same condition. There is no special provision for reserved categories. Everyone has to pay the same fee. We do not get any internship or any kind of scholarship. If we do some extra-curricular activity, then we have to deposit the money ourselves. We do not get any special funds from the department.

Campus Life

1

All this doesn't happen, it's all just for name sake and not useful, I am very annoyed with all these things and will give the lowest rating for this reason There is only a smart board in the classroom, that is fine, otherwise there is no sports equipment, nor is any work done for the awareness of the children, nothing happens.

Admission

I also tried in Banaras Hindu University but I found an affiliated college there. So I did not take admission there and took admission in this university because it is very close to my home and Hindi studies are good.Admission experience is good. We took admission in this central university through CUET exam.

Faculty

4

My department has 25 students, including 15 girls and 10 boys. Teachers are friendly, especially the head, but some don’t teach well. Exams are held every six months, usually easy, though some students get backlogs.

Interview Experience

2

Nothing like this happens, sometimes I feel where have I got stuck.Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in CUET exam. And the cutoff here is also the lowest, any average student can easily get admission.

Night Life

1

Only the library is a little good, apart from this there is no gym, no park or cafeteria. The night culture is very bad, there is no famous place of any kind. Entry into the hostel has to be done before 6 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially, I chose English Honours because I thought it would be a very easy subject. However, once I took admission and started studying it, I realized how deep and theoretical it is. When I read about the poets, their life stories, and the era they lived in, I became deeply fascinated. My interest in the subject kept growing, and that is why I chose this field."My English and vocabulary have also become much stronger after taking English Honours. I am truly grateful for this."The existing teaching methodology was effective and satisfactory; therefore, no modifications were necessary."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum can be related a fairly relevant and mandatory comprehensive. While it covers the fundamental concepts required for the subject there is still scope for including more practical, skill oriented and industry focused content. Updating the curriculum regularly with current trends and real world applications would make it even more effective and beneficial for student

I has a vision to study English from the very beginning. I wanted to study English since i was good at English and also the most important thing was me being an isce student upto class 12 which inculcated a strong English base in me English as a subject is very vast. As the world is heading towards modernisation English has become a very important thing. Gossner college has good English professors and also i heard a lot from most of my seniors that gossner college has best English faculty. The frequency of exam is 2 exams per semester where the portion tought in the syllabus is asked and it's not very easy and not very tough too
