Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had chosen BCA because I wanted to pursue engineering but I did not have the budget so I could not pursue BTech. But then my friends told me to pursue BCA so I checked that the studies are the same.It is a little different, that's why I chose BCA and it means that if you depend on the college, then you will not be able to move forward, you will have to study on your own because the college does not teach so well If you want a good placement then you will have to study on your own, it is not that there is no study in the college and not enough to get you placed.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many projects are made for internship in college and you get internship in the last year. Internship lasts for a few months and it can lead to good placement and your job can also become permanent, rest of the internships are good.

Placement Experience

2

Placements do happen, but for very few children. Some people select children like this, they combine BCA and BTech and that too three or four students. You will have to work very hard to get placed and every year companies come for placement of children.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure changes every year and when you take admission, the fee is higher in the first semester of the first year but it reduces later. And scholarship comes every year for all the children and those children whose forms get rejected due to any reason, they are asked to fill the form again so that they can get the scholarship. The rest of the fees keep changing every year. For example, when I took admission, the fees were Rs. 30,500 per year, but the next year the fees had increased for new students.

Campus Life

5

The campus are great, every month there is some event Apart from ragging etc. there is no such thing, events happen here every month, many big people come here and even the chief minister comes here. The rest of the campus is very good, the people are also good and the environment is also good.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is good but the food provided is average, neither very good nor bad, the hostel has to be renewed every year and the renewal fee is low and the rest of the structure remains old.But everything is average, rest of the hostel is fine, food is also good, you can eat to your fill, there is no problem.

Admission

In comparison to other colleges, there are some big courses here, their fees are less and direct admission is also done and the admission process is very easy, first you register and then come for counseling.Your documents will be verified and if there is no document then you will have to fill the form for it and you will get admission And now it has become compulsory to give entrance exam for some courses,After your entrance you will get admission and your process is easy.

Faculty

4

Teachers are very good but not all of them, there are some teachers who do not teach the children at all, there are some good teachers like SAYYAD ZAFAR MAHDI KAZMI sir, he teaches very well and explains And he explains every thing properly and also helps everyone and there are many other teachers who are good like MAZHAR Sir this is bca mca HOD And they also explain and teach very well, there are many such teachers who are good, there are one or two teachers who do not help you, the rest is done by the teacher.

Night Life

5

The gym and library are good and the structure is also well built. The locality is also good and there is a main road nearby. All other facilities are available. The hospital is also built near the college and it is open 24/7. Other night events have not happened in the college till now, but it will probably happen in the future because this time it is being planned very well and the work is going on well.

Other Applied Colleges

Suggest from friends and family And the fees were not much and it is close to home as well and this is a government college

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
