Unforgettable days of my life

Negative- Located in a very remote area. Transportation is very weak. The city in which the college is not well connected to others parts of the state. Positive- Ambience is very nice. Teachers are very friendly and it feels like home always.

To start with the course curriculum, the college runs under Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, which is an university. The course curriculum is provided from BPUT. BPUT conducts semester exams, as well as declares results. The internal exams and practicals are conducted within the college.

As of now, the college is in touch with few organisations which provide internships. I never recieved any stipend as such. There are various government agencies and private as well that provied training and conduct internship programs.

Placement and job opportunities are very less as of now. But they seem promising in future. Non IT branches don't get any opportunities on campus. There's still a lot to improve so as more placement opportunities can be provided to students.

Our college conducts cultural and technical fests every year. We even invite students from all over the country to be a part of college fests. It usually happens in the February and March. The college issues a wholesome budget to conduct these fests smoothly

The fee structure is pretty feasilble in my opinion as compared to other colleges in the state. The course fee being under 40k, is pretty affordable my normal mass. Inspite of that TFW waiver is also available for students with weaker economic background.

The college has tied up with State Bank of India, for all monetary purposes, so that it is easy to avail loans. There's a scholarship for students with a certain income below a mark and the SC, ST students have the access to avail a special scholarship too

Our college has every facility to provide training and equipments for most of the sports. Our college funds teams to participate in inter college tournaments as well. The college conducts sports competitions and athletics on a very regular basis.

Hostel has sufficient rooms to accomodate students comfortably. Each hostel has their own dining. There are sufficient bathrooms and washrooms to help students manage their sanitary needs efficiently. The hostel is also well equipped with sports equipments. and has recreation halls too.

The college has a very strong alumni network. It helps maintain a very informative aura outside the campus. It is made sure that every alumni is in touch and the achievement bulletin is updated regularly to motivate and inspire current students.

Exam Structure is decided by the BPUT university. B.Tech comprises of 8 semester. The last two semesters are focused on internships as of now. 8 semester are meant to coveres within a span of around 39 to 40 months.

After 12th, I got admission through Jee Mains exam based on my state ranking. I was shortlisted for admission, after which a short document verification was conducted. The final verification and fee collection was done in the college.

Right now the faculty strength in the college in increasing. The faculties are well trained and professionals with good exposure. Most of the faculties even hold a Ph.D degree. They are recruited through BPUT.
