Course Curriculum Overview
the effect of chemisry on daily life and interest towards it influenced me to choose this course .we do the experiments in lab ,face the chemicals , learn about the affect of chemistry in personal and professional life and get theoritical knowledge by our theory teachers .the area of improvement could be the theoritial explantion of the course topics .exams are of moderate levelone can pass the exams with ease if they focus on lectures and do the practical exams well
Internships Opportunities
internship opportunities are not that good for science students .students have to think of other ways for themselves .even if some companies come a very less number of students getplaced and packages are also not that god
Placement Experience
from 5th semester students gets elligible for campus placement . my plans after graduation is to do my masters after giving either cuet pg or iit jam exam .or i can to do my 4 year graduation and then do phd degree
Fees and Financial Aid
the total course fee is 23400 apart from that you might have to buy equipments required for the experiment like lab coats , safety goggles ,gloves ,masks,etcs.we also have to the examination fees at the end of every semester which usually lies between 1200 to 2000 and while admisssion you have to registration fee and course selesction fee which also costs youu from 1400 to 2400 depending on the number of courses that you choose.
Campus Life
overall campus is good .student crowd of my college is quite nice .college have a common librari and also departmental libraries for students so that they get large range of books and journals . there are effective technologies for students inside the class room like projctor ,ac etc .there are many societies which students can join according to there interest
Admission
chemistry department and faculty of sri venkateswara college is quite good and very well known in delhi in delhi university so this was my preference although i also applied to other colleges of north campus but could not get there due to high cut off
Faculty
the faculty of chemistry department is quite good teachers are very reasonable and accountable towards there students .students have quite good relationship with the teachers .there is no particular teacher i do not like every one of is good .internal tests,continuous assessment and then semester exams are being held. exams are not that hard .it is of moderate level .very less number of students fail.
Night Life
ater 7:30 pm libraries ,cafeteries and all get closed .hostel get closed after 9:00pm and campus timing is from 8:00 am to 6:00pm .maggie point near the main ground and rock garden cose to the auditorium are famous hangout places inside the college
