Likes

The cleaniness of campus and the proper greenery leading to peace
Seniors are very much helpful and the bond between senior and junior is very pure
the new hostels are very comfortable and good

Dislikes

very less restriction of irrelugar vehicles are there
library is not 24 hours open .......the timing should be increase
campus in time is also 10 which i dont like

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is not that much satisfiying but what can we do ...we have to follow the curriculum ....in iits we get to know about several life hacks and life realities ....they make sure after fighting iit life you can conquer anything ....the papers are continously there are no long break between mid sem or end sems

Fees and Financial Aid

iit ism dhanbad fee structure for a general candidate is approx 1.5 lakh per sem including all the expenses while for sc st candidates is about nil only mess fee will be taken that is approx 20000 per sem scholarship are for candidates whose family annual income is less than 70000 and other benefits etc

Campus Life

the campus life is awesome which includes classes ,bunks ,fests ,and several moments with ur loved ones...there is a very good manner celebrating each and every thing together and there are several clubs to participate

Admission

the admission is totally based on jee advance rank ....then by jossa councelling one get seat in these colleges ...in my case my jee main rank was not that much good so there are very less options for me ...so i chose this

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is not that much good and strong ...there are good profs but they are limited...exam are taken in two phase per sem i.e mid sem and end sem ....between these several quizes are taken....the exams are not that much difficult can be prepared withing 10 days to exams

Night Life

the nightlife is good and peacefull ....after dinner we go for walks with our freinds and the campus night life is good as there are less crowd in night which leads to peace and roam in the campus without any drama

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
