I Entered NIT by National level Exam called GATE which is conducted by MHRD every year for scholarship foer post graduate student i wrote GATE in EC background and i got 1200 AIR after that their is CCMT counselling through which i got NIT Surathkal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Sturcture is designed by college proff according to present scenario and proper bakance in Research and Industries we have a lot of elective in department their are all field Experts like in my department their are people fron Image processing, wireless Communication,data network and all most complete Communcation experts they focus both on research.
Internships Opportunities
Yupps our coleege provide Internship our college have lot of MOU with PSU and MNCs they send students for summer and winter internship in which organisation pays good and for master they send us outside for a good project for one year.
Placement Experience
Job opportinuty is very good in our college company starts coming from sep. only in this year almost 160 companies visited ans almost 40% of students got placed at end of year almost 70 per of student are placed in good companies even who not placed can be absorb either in internship or outside open campus.

Basically their is Two large events in our college one is techincal which occure in odd sem and one is culture which occure in even sem feast are very big students praparing two three month before events this events give a platform for students to show their managerial as well as their skills to show.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure 1 lakh per annaum sports and Gym are included in this swimming pool is available in our collegeMss food is good but never better than home food hostel and food rent is affordable(19000/sem) including all the above said facility over all it is not that much expansive and after gating scholarship its affordable.

Since i am a GATE student, we get scholarship form government we can take loan from different banks in our college they will encourage students by giving some innovative awards,fee concessions for toppers.

NItk is situated near Arabic Sea so naturally beautiful and the cultural feast and annual event make it like heaven their is equal gender ratio girls and boys the proper combination make any event joyful our play ground is too large and we enjoy alot in our college their are people from diff part of india as well as their is special quota to DASSA student.

We have 30 hostel bulindings including all the infatruture giving us a feel of home there is a internet facility, washing machine and hot water facility (24*7) mess food is good but never better than home food hostel and food rent is affordable(19000/sem)
