The curriculum is really good and you could get to learn a lot of new things and reach to find a lot of open opportunities if you take a little bit of effort.The last module of every subject in the curriculum exposes the students to real world applications of what we study. We are asked to submit a project for subjects that play a major role in real life so that we put to use what we learn.CAt 2 is open book exam , but the questiond asked in the exam are innovative making sure that you can answer only if you have a deeper understanding of the subject.

From the ^th semester students become eligible for campus placements . A lot of prominent companies like Google, Microsoft , Tcs , Infocys visit and give offer letter to students here. The average package is 20LPA whereas the highest in the previous year was 1 crore per annum.I beleive a vast majority of students get placed before they finish their degree unless they want to study further. I plan to either do an MBA or M.Tech abroad after getting a degree

The Vellore Institute of college admission fees mainly depend upon your Vit rank which you will get through your vit entrance test.According to the course you choose you have fee structures . Computer science core is really competitive , thus you need to secure a very good rank to get into the 1st fee structure. The 1st fee structure for the course isin and around 2 lakhs per annum. And fee structure is about 3LPA . The 3rd and 4th fee structure increase consecutively by 50,000 per annum.This arrangement is only for the Bachelors degree. If you would like to opt for Mtech integrated course , then the fee in a particular fee structure would change. YOu can also get admission through Management quota but the amout of money you pay as fees would be relatively huge. The hostel fees in Vit largely depend on the room you choose( AC or Non AC) and the type of bedroom(6bed, 4bed, 3bed, 2bed) and the type of mess you choose( Veg, Non veg, Special, Food park).

TechnoVit and Vibrance events are the major events in college . Technovit is a technological event , whereas Vibrance is a cultural event . A vast amount of books on various principles and fields is available in the library . The place when i first visited which made me freeze in awe was the library. Even if a certain journal which you require is not available , you could speak to the libray head and get access to it .There are over 100 student clubs in vit of which you can become a part of depending on your interest.

The facities depend on the room you choose , whether Ac or non Ac . The Ac rooms are provided with an ac as well as a ceiling fan . The non ac rooms are provided only with a fan . The menu of food in the mess depends upon the mess type ans the caterer you choose. You have the option to swap your mess every month , so if you do not like the quality of food in a particular caterer you can switch to another caterer

I had applied to Vit, Manipal University and Amritha School of Engineering . The reson i chose Vit was that one they let out the results and confirmed admissions before any other college . The next thing was that Vit provides a lot of opportunities for collaborating and connecting with people all round the globe. The provide Summer intership opportunities which can be understaken in different parts of the world, helping you develop wider connections and opportunities for growth

Like every college institution some faculty and really good and some teach just for the namesake of teaching. Here we have 3 exams in each semester Continuous Assesment test(CAT 1 and 2) and Final Assesment test (Fat).In between all of these we have to submit Digital Assignments and attend quizzes. A certain percentage of these is taken into account while calculating the GPA of a particular semester. So watch out and don't take anything to light.But be it any subject if the faculties teach or don't teach, if you take matters into your own hands and start studying, you could ace the grades since here we follow relative grading for theory papers and absolute grading for lab classes. Its really easy to score great grades in lab classes if you dont play up.

Yeah before entering into any club we have to attend 3 rounds of an interwiew. First will be the elemination round , @nd will be the group discussion round and third will be the Voting round. For the pereparation part of it , i think all you need is interest in that particular field and a little bit of of knowlege in the field of the club.

A seperate gym is present in the girls and boys hostel . Otherwise a paid gym is also available in the college campus .There are 3 cafetarias , Gazebo,Gymkhanna and North square each having a unique atmosphere of its own.for the girls hostel the intime is 8.00. for boys the intime is 9.00.After 9 no one is allowed to roam around the campus unless if it is an event night or a hacathon night
