Likes

The nature of professors I have got in my department. They are so reputed and supportive in every problem I face.
The events being held here in college are very good.
Library is very good with a large no of books.

Dislikes

Sports facilities can be improved and more participation is needed.
Placements should be more encouraging and good.
The number of working days should be reduced.

Course Curriculum Overview

As climate change is becoming a very big issue and knowing my interest in this field I have chooses this course to further work towards environment. Curriculum of this course is quite good. Exam are nearly on gap of every 1.5 months with total of 2 exams in a semester.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't haveuch idea of internship opportunities but I have heard from my seniors that it is good as many companies approach students for internships. Students get regular mails about it and there have to grow there skills to avail those opportunities.

Placement Experience

Placements are average here. A good amount of companies visit here and good offers are made. Highest package this year was 80lpa and lowest was 7 lpa. Students in 7 semester are eligible for campus placements. 80 percent students get placement in campus. I haven't yet made any plans after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure here is quite affordable. I have to pay 100000 rupees for every semester. Other than that message fees for every semester is 18000 rupees. There is some extra fee like medical expenses and others around 10000 rupees. I don't have any scholarship benefits so I don't know much about how it works.Many of my friends have availed scholarship so they have to pay less compared to me.

Campus Life

My overall experience till date is very nice . College hosts many events like srijan( cultural) ,concetto( technical), parakram (sports) fests. Also we participate in inter IIT. Clubs are like family here. There are large no of books and journals for students in Library. Sports facilities are quite good. These all have very positive impact on students life.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is satisfactory. We are provided with bed and chair with electricity and wifi in rooms. Hostel were alloted to us. Meal quality is average and menu is good . Proper maintenance and cleanliness is there.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

BolI choose many top IITs like Bombay, Delhi and Roorkee etc but I didn't get seat there because I don't have enough rank. So I choose this college. Admission process here is easy . You have to just apply for it online and pay registration fee and you will get it if you got enough rank to get a seat in a particular course in the college.

Faculty

Faculty is overall good and supportive. The ratio of faculty to student is very good and their relationship is very good. All faculties in my department are very good. Exam are overall of good level and marking scheme is nice. They always favour students future.

Night Life

Nightlife is very good here. My favourite hangout spot here is heritage building with my friends.Gym facilities are very good and its all free. Hostel in time in night is 2 am whereas campus intime is 11pm

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

IIT(ISM)DHANBAD SINCE 1926

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
