Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was influenced by the course structure but made me not happy by seeing it lacked innovative teaching. I would rate that 3/10 since three points for organising such course but negative 7 for not including skillful teachers. So it doesnt prepare fully for real world jobs Teaching method is good but the teachers need to understand that they should also get updated knowledge and skills according to industrial trends The exams were timely conducted and held at appropriate intervals giving us enogh time to study and prepare.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships were not offered and i dont know much about it but i am pretty sure there is some sort of interns coming from different colleges and show their skills which they calls as ReVA race , and they were very nicely treated and given a fair choices to showcase their talent , hackathons helds every three months , different quizz and then they shortlist accordingly.

Placement Experience

4

They start campus placements for almost 2 year only because already we are at phase of learning and once we complete 2nd year we can apply and eligible . We visited bengaluru bio innovation centre , HAL laboratory , other companies in tamil nadu Highest package offered is 16 lakhs per annum for the bsc job which is very good but also very rare Approx 50 persent student got placed but others applied for higher studies My plans are for starting enterpreneurship journey

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid year wise as 20000 for tution fees and 20000 for other fees such as maintainance and other relevant fields. No compulsory charges for sc /st people , they took 5000 for caution amount , library fees nil , lab brokerage fees 200 rs per semester , development fees nil , admission fees is 500 which is also registration fees. The fees for managements goes upto 17 to 20 lakhs including hostel and accomodations in university but they give a placement offer for 30 lakhs per year job also so it is kind of normal investement in MBA In merit they provide scholarship chance in every sememster through karnataka SSP portal and we get upto 50 percent scholarship fees deducded

Campus Life

3

Annually we were held for the industrial trip for different companies and space organisations The range is from comical to science fiction for different enginneering and research journals are available The facilities can use technical things easily because they are using it from a long time but if they are given updated model they will stuck at it. A wide range of sports and different activities were offered , and even musical bands collisions and different north east events so reva is culturally rich in terms of events Yes SLCM is the portal there in the website , salesforce is also running even the NSS schemes are run and led by students also .

Admission

Other colleges i dont know much but i chose this college because of the easy and student friendly registration process and the course was looking well organised and meaningfull including skills as equal to btech students for bsc people also . No i not got rejection but the seats were full so i cancelled application there.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is less because sometimes when the teacher was absent no teacher was able to substitute it with even another batch . The best faculties include shivanna sir , raju BT sir and brinda mam , they were not only hard working but they showed up how to easily understand concepts and were passionate in teaching and more innovative ideas. I didnt like shraddha mam , and one pHD pursuing teacher who was just showing us divided in basis of hindi kannada and not teaching with their honesty. Course curriculum was somewhat not relavent because industry want level 3 but college gives only level 1 and second thing their courses were very nicely organised i know they can do well but needs some innovation and investment in intrumentations in the reasearch and tech field in order to make students elligible for jobs.

Night Life

5

Everything us there from gym to cafe to study hall , library opens 24 hours , stationary , food court , different home theatres and hostel facilities also good. Its all safe to roam around inside university as there is hospital and other facilities i cant even get into other colleges . Campus timings for roaming is from 6 am to 9 pm at night then we can roam in whole hostel as much as we want fully ventilated and food is really best .

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
