Apart from college infrastructure, the roads leading to college require attention of the concerned authorities. The college authorities are trying hard to improve conditions on their own but due to being a busy road leading to powerplant it becomes exhausted with course of time.

The course Curriculum of SPPU as I expected to be quite better wasn't so. It was quite outdated and focussed on really from the scratch concepts in contrast of my expectations from an engineering course.

Yes. The college provides internship but the motive of internship is purely on acquisition of knowledge hence stipend was given least importance by students. Being from CSE, basic skills and advanced all professionally required values were given us during training and internships.

The Training and Placements Cell is completely in favour and confidence of students. Even being a college started merely a decade ago the TPO activities are going good. Infact a lot of MNC are brought in pooled campus along with reputed local firms which provide good CTC. The TPO cell of every department is quite supportive of the students.

Jamboree annual festival is the cultural fest of the institution. Wherein all cultural activities and days are celebrated by all students. These cultural activities are organized by core committee in such manner that they include latest social messages in order to create awareness. Academic events include International Conferences, Computing Conferences, etc.

The college fee structure is revised under SPPU hence the fee is totally feasible. It is as follow(approx): General category : 81k. OBC category : 45k. SC/ST/NT : 15k. TFWS : 10k

The scholarship is provided under MAHADBT scheme of Government of Maharashta schemes. These provide direct benefit to students directly to their bank account hence removing the middlemen and letting student having their grant amount deposited to account.

The laboratories are well maintained and in excellent condition. They are up to date with latest technologies required as per department(Comps, IT, EXTC, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical). Sports are conducted under a special sports cell which provides support and time for students participating in competitions and championships. A large cricket ground, double volleyball courts, basketball court and a football turf is provided in well maintained condition.

Infrastructure of the institution is excellent. It is made architecturally good and well maintained. The department was division of main college building is spacious and sufficient to occupy large number of students. A separate workshop is provided for heavy machinery and heavy tasks. Inshort all required equipments and spaces are provided for conducting curricular practicals and sports activities. A large cricket ground, double volleyball courts, basketball court and a football turf is provided in well maintained condition. Hostel facility is excellent and comfortable to any new student as anti ragging policies work in full force and patrolling is done.

The alumni and senior students are good. They provide directions to fresher and other students. Whenever required the also provide their reference to a CAPABLE and WORTHY student in their company. The alumni meet is conducted every year for the sole purpose of alumni-student interaction.

The exam structure is totally based on the one provided under SPPU. The first two year include a 25+25+50 (mcq1+mcq2+endsem) pattern which being objective type are welcomed by students as well as faculty. Third and final year include a 30+70(insem+endsem) pattern which is completely theoretical. Apart from that a practical examination alongwith viwa are conducted for each subject.

As I wanted to apply for computer engineering I did not choose any other professional course. By the centralised admission process round I was alloted this college. Hailing from Thane and comparatively low scores I found it difficult to get admission in MU hence continued CAP process and acquired admission here.

The faculty of the college is the only thing I'd have relied on since past 3 and a half years. They are supportive and well kept with new trends and technologies. Apart from academic they also provide moral support which matters most to any student.
