Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is well diverse and very well made for the respective industry. The topics and subjects covered in the curiculum are the industry's demanded topics. The internal exam frequency is also well thought but, the external exam that are conducted by the university tend to lack in time efficiency. The external or end semester examinations often are postpond multiple times giving the student less time to study for the next semester.

Internships Opportunities

2

I have been in the college for 3 years and have only had 2 internship opportunities that were provided by the college. Most of the internships and job opportunities are grabbed by the students from online networking and not through college placements.

Placement Experience

2

The placements in my college are very less and the companies that arrive in the placement drive offer very less starting packages and salaries to freshers even if we compared the same skillset with other companies a student may get a better offer outside the college. The students tend to grab job opportunities and internship opportunities through offline and online networking on their.

Fees and Financial Aid

?25000 - Yearly Tution Fees ( Consists of 2 Sems) ?1000 - Prospectus fees(1 time payment in 1st sem) ?1000- Uniform/ kit Fees ( Also 1 time in 1st Sem) ?1000-?2000 -Examination form fees(Before Exams) ?75000- Total Tution fees ( 3 Years for BCA)

Campus Life

1

The infrastructure provided is fairly good and comprises of all the facilities with modern day architecture. There are no clubs of any kind in the college, thus there is no after classes campus life in college. There are no student engaging activities in the college due to which the students usually don't arrive in classes even though there is the 75% attendence rule. There are only 2 sports played in the college (cricket and volleyball) and even these are played once in every year.

Admission

I took admission in this college because it generally does not require an entrance examination. Therefore taking admission is comparitavely easier. I took admissiom in this college over the others because it is the best college that is nearest to my home and the other colleges did not provide my desired course.

Faculty

4

The teachers in the college hired are very well suited for teaching as they teach and help the srudents accordingly. Very much helping in problem solving regarding the subject or even anything personal. A single teacher teaches to 4-5 classes and in each class there are almost on an average 100 total number of students. The internal exams conducted by the college are very insightful and helps in preparing for the end semester examinations. The exams are also conducted on time by the college.

Night Life

1

I don't know about the hostel life as I am a day scholar but the cafetarias does have a closing timing and are not available for the whole day. There are also no places that are near the college for hangout. There is only a dominoes that is around, 1 km far from college.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
