Remarks

The college is quite satisfiable for any CSE aspirant. The placement for other streams is not that good and assured but still any deserving student can fetch a good job there. It has a lot of societies for students so that they can follow their passion.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum for CSE branch is quite up to date. The college revises its syllabus time to time according to ulUniversity's guidelines and introduce various topics which are important these days. They also have Human values classes in their curriculum to inculcate a feeling of responsibility in the students towards the society.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was something where the college lacked. It did not provide internships to the students but made it compulsory for students to pursue internships after 2nd and 3rd year. They asked the students to find internships for themselves.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement records for BTech CSE is nearly 100%. The highest package was 12 lpa offered by ION trading in the batch 2018 and average must have been around 3.5lpa. Infosys and Accenture are the mass recruiters in the college offering around 200 jobs each for all the students.

College Events

4

A lot of events were celebrated in the college. I hadn't even heard of some of them. They celebrated festivals of all religions along with national festivals and annual fest as well. Being a technical college the annual fest has both technical and cultural aspects. Yes the annual fest has technical events organised by students. In cultural events, students participated in B-boeing , dance and music events, fashion shows etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible according today's scenario. It was charging me nearly 1 lakh per year. Any BTech college can charge such fees if it is providing good faculty and proper lab facilities. The infrastructure is also good. The main attraction of the college is it's auditorium. On the whole I am satisfied with the fees structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provide scholarships to students who get University ranks less than 100. They also encourage to take part in other national level competitions like I participated in Smart India Hackathon in 2017. Even though we could not bag a good position in the competition the college funded us a good participation reward just to encourage students to do good.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has a lot if societies for students who want to continue their passion like Music society, Debate society, placement cell, etc. The college has good labs with ample equipments and the infrastructure is also fine enough. The college has a good charm for volleyball so they host volleyball tournament every year. Other sports are also there, it has teams for nearly all the sports but they have to participate in tournaments hosted by other colleges

Hostel Facilities

4

Sorry I have not lived in hostel but I can say that it is a okay place from what my friends told me about it. It has two seater and three seater rooms. The college provide hostel facility to boys only. The hostel is within the college premises.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has developed a good platform for increasing its alumni network in 2017 and is making great efforts to convince the student to sign up on it. Our batch didn't get the benefit as it was just growing but it has proved to be useful for our upcoming batch 2019 The alumni do fetch a couple of good companies for hiring at the college and they guide the students in right direction if a student takes such an initiative.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is not that good. Sometimes it puts a lot of burden over students. It had two internal theory exams and internal and external practicals and semester exam. Normally they conducted second internal theory exam and internal and external practicals in a single row. So that 3 weeks patch is a bit tough for students

Admission

During my time (2014 ) there was a separate CET for GGSIPU. The students had to fill the application form in April starting and the test was conducted somewhere in the June starting. There the students had to mention their preferred colleges priority-wise. Then the university publish the result of entrance test in form of ranks and the college to which a student can apply whose cut off criteria is met by the student's rank. The students had to go to the college with his/her CET result and submit the college fees and a University fees of Rs 40000 to take the admission.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is very helpful and supportive. They always encourage the students to take up new projects under their guidance and participate in varoius national level competition. I took part in two such competitions myself and our faculty helped us a lot.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
