Great college

Its a question whose answr would vary person to person. But to me it was not bad. I didn't like the hostel quite much so that was an issue for me. The rules are extremely strict for girls specifically as in time is 7pm workdays and 6pm sundays. Whereas for boys it's till 10pm which was unfair.and near girls hostel there's no food shacks so u can order or either go till gate but be back by 7.

Its better than most colleges as far as i know. It's strict over there u got a hectic timetable but none the less it prepares you for the future or for the job where u need to sit for 8 9 hours. So u have a practice for that.

Yaa Ofcourse summer internships are there. And courses too. Its your wish if you want to do it from outside or from college. The summer internships are 1 or 2 months long and stipend is about 5k or so but varies. You can choose your internships from various categories like Matlab or tanner tool.

Placements are pretty good. College tries its best to provide Placemnts to everyone. Lots of companies come with varied packages. Some of the companies which visit the campus are infosys, wipro, mindtree etc.

We have 2 functions one is the college fest that is "Sankalp" and is the cultural fest "waves". Sankalp is a 2 day event. The morning time there's technical events organized by various clubs in of our colleges. And evening time cultural events are there, dance programs, singing etc. Other college students can also participate or attend.

Fee structure during 2014-18 was 1.48L including hostel fees and transportation charges. The mess fee was 3k per Month. Which i found a bit expensive because the food wasn't that good to be honest. 4 time meal was provided, the breakfast, lunch, high tea snacks and dinner. For day scholars there's lunch available in college canteen.

There were a lot of scholarships like book grant or minority scholarships. Many students benefitted from that. Its a bit hassele when applying for that as you need to submit certificates and all or proper documents but once its done its no more an issue.

Extracurricular activities such as various clubs are there like astronomy club, electronics club, counselling clubs and many more which are headed by some faculty. These clubs organize various events during college fests.

Infrastructure is pretty good. Hostel is inside campus only so for hostellites morning classes are not an issue. Bus transportation is there if you want to go to the town for outing and while returning time also you will get a college bus at the respective stop and the time.

Its pretty good. And easy to use too. U can easily connect and talk to any seniors or alumni without much trouble though the portal. I have heard many students havr been helped through this portal so you can easily go through that.

Basically its semester wise. In four years you will have 8 semester. 2 in each year. One will be during the November December and other will be during april. Then there's internal exams too. Two internal before each exam. Then there's practical exam of each lab before the semester exams.

It was through the jee main exams. Then u are shortlisted. Then go through counselling process. Then the admission formalities. Then report to college , pay the admission fees ,submit the documents, then the hostel entry is done. Room selections, then you got to take the Bedsheet and pillows and settle there.

Faculty is really great. They are highly knowledgeable and will do their best to help u do your work or assignments. They help a lot in projects and seminars. Most faculties are there till 8pm or so. Even some come to hostel to take classes in the evenings.
